This perfectly fir the 5 gallon tank for my daughter's toad. It's sturdy, as well and holds up fine even when one of our cats gets on top of it to eye the toad.

Got two lids for a pair of empty tanks I had sitting around, planned to put a couple lizards I have in them since they're on the smaller side. They sadly arrived bent & I'm still working on trying to get them unbent to fit properly without having gaps my critters can slip thru but other then that don't have a problem & decent price if you can't find them anywhere cheaper.

It fits my glass 5.5 gallon aquarium perfectly, and is sturdy enough to put a little light on it if needed.

We are VERY pleased with the shipping, the tank cover, and the customer service when inquiring on product. Highly recommend for a 5.5 gallon tank or 10 gallon tanks. We bought for both size tanks. It has the sturdy weight, to keep on top of tank, smooth finish to deter scratching, and dark black to compliment any tank!
