I'm a part time goalie, I usually play out of net. When I do play net I tend to play a bit differently than most so I'm not always in the right place so I run the risk of getting hit in the throat. Already happened once with a puck.... So this guard should help with that! Has a bend but not break feel to it. Easy to install but watch your knots so they stay tired. Moves around but stays where I want it and doesn't get in the way. Makes the wife happy that I have it!

My 12U goalie needed a new gobbler after his had broken. This one is great and does the job. The only issue is that the ties aren’t great, you’re better off using old (non wax) hockey skates instead, it’s a lot better and sturdier to keep the tie together.
