I ordered these as a backup since I’m always using torx bits and they serve that purpose. These stay in my drill bag for just in case since I buy the sizes I use in bulk and collect the bits that come with the screws.

This is very much a case where you have to consider value for the money. As far as Torx sets go, this one is…. Fine. It has all the standard sizes you would need, along with the essential accessories. The case does a fine job keeping the 2 holders in one place, and the holders each do a fine job of keeping the bits in place. If you need something to have in your toolbox for occasional use, this is perfect. And for the number of pieces, the price is amazing.If price was taken completely out of the mix, I’d probably rate these around 3.5 stars. The case could be better, the blue “flexible impact” sections are just blue stickers. These are not “daily-use by a contractor” quality. But they also aren’t priced as such.So for under ten bucks to get every size you might need, this is a 5 star value.

ARUCMIN Torx Bit Sets- 1 Security Set & 1 Extended Bit Set- Both have 2 T20 & 2 T25 Bits- w/ Holder! This set has 28 pieces, is black oxide, and is designed to stand up to usage with today's impact drivers. These bits appear to be well made and have held up to my own impact driver usage in the T20 and T25 extended versions. The set comes with a magnetic bit holder and a 1/4” drive socket holder, also in black oxide.As indicated, there are TWO sets of Torx bits in this kit. The short set of bits are the hollow-center security Torx. The long bits are solid center Torx. There is one bit for each size T7, T8, T9, T10, T15, T20 (x2), T25 (x2), T27, T30, T35, and T40. The sizes are the same for both sets.Bottom Line: 5 StarsARUCMIN's Torx bit set does what it claims to do. If you are NEW to using bits, not just impact bits but any bits, this set can truly help get you started as it has a proper magnetic bit holder. This set also has a proper 1/4” drive socket holder. For the regular or professional user, I know those bit holders are not necessarily useful to you as you already own more professional bit holders. Do you need backups? In any case, ARUCMIN's bits should suit your needs. I'm looking at these bits as a retired professional automotive technician. All bits will break over time, with torque. You should be happy with the service life of ARUCMIN's Torx bits. I am… They are a 5 Star winner!

This set contains the selection of sizes I would expect in a good set. The bits are properly formed to the proper size and grip well. The long bits are regular torx bits, while the short ones are the security bits. It is rare that I need a security torx bit, but it has happened, especially if I am rebuilding a valve. Most of the time, I use my bits with a handle rather than an impact driver, but on occasion I have used the impact driver. Most of the time, I have used it on wood or decking screws. Often, when I buy a box of them they will come with a short bit that is sized for the screws. These have lasted well enough for me to keep them afterward. So, what I am saying is that when I use these bits, they are not always going to be under much stress from an impact driver so I am certain they will last some time to come. Further, I also use them with my drill where I will adjust the torque so it will not strip a hole.The one place where I will use it a fair bit is on my robotics field where I need to assemble and reassemble it in a hurry. It is in this situation that I find these incredibly useful. This is especially true since there are a couple of spots where having the longer shaft is quite helpful.Lastly, the case is not going to last if I put it in the same bag as my drill. This is the most unfortunate characteristic of the set. The top latches decently but will easily come unlatched if pressed/squished/bent. In fact, the case came with a slight crack in it already. I anticipate getting a better case that is small and using it to keep this and some other drill accessories secure. Perhaps I will purchase a bit set that has the capability of accepting many more bits than what came in the set. This is the only thing that makes me think that having a more expensive kit at the outset may be a valid choice depending upon the needs since if you add the cost of a good case, this may not be such a great deal. For me, I think it is perfect since I have numerous cases that I use (but need to reacquire since I had a house fire recently).

This is a good torx bit set, with both regular and security bits. It doesn't include sizes 11-14, 16-19, 21-24, 28-29, 31-34, and 36-39 because such fasteners really don't officially exist. I don't know if the colored slimmer neck of more expensive impact bits is really a different material, but the colored section on these bits is just a sticker. And the stickers aren't lined up evenly as you can see in the pic. The size of each bit is engraved on the hex portion of the bit. It's a little hard to see, but adequate. The plastic container and bit holders are useful to keep the set organized. The extension bit is also a useful addition. The included 1/4" socket adapter isn't something you will use with the torx bits in this set, but it might come in handy when driving 1/4" sockets.
