Handle turns smoothly, but not certain the cutting blade is for stainless steel, even though I ordered one for cutting stainless steel. I had to take it much slower than normal when applying cutting pressure, but I got the job done without damaging the cutting blade.

Used tool to cut copper pipe. I cut m, l, and K copper. The wheel broke on the first piece I tried to cut, and when I replaced the wheel with the one under the reamer, it broke too. Now before you say I started my cut with the tool too tight on the pipe, forget about it. I have been cutting pipe for 25 years and know how to use the tool. Would not recommend.

Ok, this is a very high quality tubing cutter, but if used for stainless it will need to be fairly thin walled. I used it to cut stainless tubing that had pretty thick wall and the wheel got destroyed like the pictures in the other negative review. It made it quite a ways through before failing though.

Imperial tubing cutters are smooth cutting , they spin in small increments so they do not bind up like other brands

Terrible went to use tracks won’t cut straight cutting wheel totally sloppy tried tightening wheel screw it’s stripped would not recommend

I found the Model Number: TC1000 more practical and useful .The Hi-Duty Tube Cutter as better design the other with hardened steel reamer with turned cutting edge removes inside burrs cleanly and filing surface removes outside burrs also.The hard material use to build this Hi-Duty Tube Cutter Model Number: TC1000 .I found only one best word for product and Supplier :"AWESOME"

I work in the HVAC industry and had another one of these for 25 years before it wore out. It always worked well and replacement cutting wheels are available at local suppliers I don't expect I will wear this one out before I retire.

Works fantastic! Only used it to cut EMT so far. Knob operation is so smooth that you can spin it all the way open with the flick of the wrist. Very handy feature. Another quality Imperial tool added to my arsenal.

Worked great for my purpose, which is cutting several pieces of 12mm OD x 10mm ID Titanium tubing. It went throught smoothly, and the cutting wheel doesn't seem to have suffered from it at all. (That's why I picked this model, since it has the special stainless steel cutting wheel).The integrated deburring too was pretty much worthless, but cute to have, and it covers the spare wheel.
