Package was received promptly. This is my first time incubating eggs. I will update my review when I have finished using it. Temperature is accurate, it is a quiet machine and the rollers turn automatically. I appreciate the foam box it includes for when I am incubating during the winter. Since I live in a warm climate, however, I did not need it. When I opened the manual I saw some gramatical mistakes. I was worried I was going to have trouble understanding the instructions. Thankfully they are minimal and did not cause confusion. The incubator requires a water bottle (not included) attached to a tube to adjust humidity. User is expected to regulate humidity. I bought a cheap hydrometer for $6 on amazon to monitor humidity. This also showed the temperature which I use to make sure the temperature the incubator reads is accurate. For chicken eggs, the manual says to keep the humidity at 50-60%, though online I read it should be 45-55%. Perhaps the higher humidity is specific to this incubator. To be safe I am keeping my humidity to 55%.The hardest part is keeping the humidity regulated. But considering this is an entry level incubator I am giving it 5 stars because it delivers on what it is expected for an incubator at this price.

There is no water bottle and the standard water bottle doesn't fit the fitting provided, I ended up putting the fitting on a regular water bottle and taping it so it doesn't leak as much, next time I'll be sure there is a bottle with it, other than that I'm trying it out today and we'll see

This works pretty good for the price. It rotates the eggs, it keeps temp. The advertisement shows a clear box but you get a styrofoam box so you can’t watch the process. It doesn’t have a humidity meter and the water dropper thing is a pain to set up and keep from leaking or flooding the machine. Also no set up instructions. But it works just could be executed way better.

Giving a 4 out of 5 for start up ONLY because of the water holder. It’s very flimsy and doesn’t hold firmly a typical water bottle so it just sits there with no true support. Otherwise, set up was simple. Easy to set temp, not too many hard to remember settings. Not noisy at all. Holds about 10 large eggs and 2 small eggs at once comfortably. Put my eggs in it today so now we wait to see how well it works! 🤞

Not like what is pictured. In the pictures it shows that the sides are clear so you can see inside but that is NOT the case. It has a styrofoam casing that must stay on so you are completely unable to see what is going on inside. Just hope for the best I guess. The water bottle system is completely useless. The bottle holder does not screw to the bottle so when you put a bottle in it the water goes all over the table and lets ALL of the water into the incubator, it does not regulate the humidity at all. There’s no way of knowing what your humidity levels are even at because it does not tell you and you can’t put a gauge inside to tell the humidity because you can’t see inside the incubator at all. This was a HUGE let down unfortunately. And it is way smaller than expected. I could only fit 9 regular sized chicken eggs in this one where it says 12. These are not oversized eggs so I’m sad to say this one is a waste of money.

This works just fine as long as you're careful to follow all instructions - most importantly, don't throw away the foam insulator. We're starting chicks now to raise up in the barn so they'll be laying by the start of summer. First batch, 100% hatch rate. Keep close tabs on humidity. Since it's still winter and very dry indoors from heating, I was obsessive about checking. Also, I only used the candler twice for each egg as I didn't want to disrupt the environment. It paid off! Will be starting a second batch of eggs soon. With bird flu spreading, it's best to hatch your own and keep your birds enclosed.

It doesn't include the bottle for the moisture diffusing feature, but I haven't had a need for it yet either. It doesn't seem strictly necessary anyways. That said - I also havent had a successful hatch yet so go figure! That said, I am entirely sure that's a matter of user error. But the incubator itself seems to be high quality construction for the price, and more than sufficient for some homestead hatching!
