If you're looking at these, you're either already familiar with, or are about to become familiar with, the ICD-10. In the former case, you already know how involved it can be finding a code using the index and tabular list. It can be extremely time consuming just finding the right page. These tabs help; a lot.Setting up my book took about 45 minutes to an hour and it wasn't particularly difficult. The tabs stick very well, but not immediately, so it's easy to remove and adjust them as needed before really smoothing them in place. You can see the end result in the picture of my rather heavily-used ICD-10. The tab colors coincide with the page colors in the book so, visually, this takes the color-coded organization scheme used in the ICD-10 and extends it beyond the margins of the page, making it very easy to find where you need to go to get the right code. Several larger reference sections--Neoplasms, etc.--are indicated by tabs on the top of the book, which does a good job of keeping the tabs from getting too cluttered. There is a guide included to help you position the tabs correctly on the page; the process, I felt, was intuitive.This is a simple enhancement to the ICD-10 that makes it a lot more useable and, notably, that makes finding the right code noticeably faster. If you're learning coding, I find that having the name of each chapter displayed on the outside of the book helps with memorizing them, as well. I can't recommend this enough.

These tabs are okay. They get the job done while I'm in school, I'd prefer something a little less flimsy, but for now this is fine.My biggest gripe is that the blank tabs do NOT take to ink well. I tried permanent marker and pen and they do not stay applied to the tabs whatsoever, even after half an hour of drying. They wipe off incredibly easily. So if you want to use any of the custom tabs, I do not recommend this set.

These tabs, although 24 edition still worked amazing with my 2025 books. Makes navigating so easy.

Whatever you do, get these since they are fantastic. Easy to use, reusable and colorful. There are blank tabs to hand write in any codes that you want .

I really like these tabs and wanted to give them 5 stars, the don’t is nice and big, it comes with a guide where to place your tabs, and it is colorful. That being said the colors of the tabs do not match the colors in the tabular lists. Additionally some of the index tabs should have been combined, ended up with 2 tabs for Q,R and 3 tabs for X,Y,Z on the same page.Additionally the tab for appendix A says 3 character codes, but the ICD 10-CD book says long term codes. Appendix B says pharmacology, but the book says summary of changes. So I tried to use the blank tabs but the blank tabs do NOT take to ink. Not even permanent marker…it does not stay applied to the tabs.Just a warning to make sure you place them where you want them, if you put any significant pressure on the tab into the page and it’s almost impossible to remove.Other than that I really liked these tabs,

I used this in Optum’s ICD-10-CM and love it. The guides to line up your tabs on the top and bottom are so helpful. I am a new coder and this is helping me with efficiency. Will be looking to this seller for tabbing my CPT manual too.
