This is the most amazing tool I've added to my home shop hands down! I have two really old vehicles in the northeast and they are really rusty underneath from years of salty roads in the winter and I absolutely hate paying for repairs I should be able to do myself. I had a power steering line rusted over so bad and I just didn't have the tools that I needed to get the leverage to break the nut. It should have been a 15 minute repair that ended up costing $250 in labor. I talked to the mechanic and he told me how long it took for him and listed all the different tools it to took to finally break it free and it showed me why labor costs for vehicles are so high. This would have worked so fast to break off the rust to free it. A couple of years ago I had to remove a few seats in my van to turn it into an emergency camper to sleep in between shifts. I spent hours grinding away at the bolts with sparks everywhere inside just to remove 12 rusty nuts and bolts to take out the seats. I just bought a new van and need to remove a few more seats to transfer from the old one that are in better condition and don't want to damage the seat supports so I tried this just to see how fast I could heat and remove just one nut a bolt. In one minute and 30 seconds I heated the nut and with a open end wrench and socket wrench with an added extension I had the first one off. No torch, no impact gun, just this and a couple of hand tools and it was off. I was able to bend the ring of the heater end to place it right over the end of the nut and bolt to get a better angle on it. The undercarriage of my other vehicle needs all the sway bars and rods replaced and every bolt is rusted tight plus the trailer hitch receiver end I need to remove to put on a folding cargo platform for a wheelchair but that hitch has been on for over 20 years. I have sprayed it with lubricant, torched it, and even hit it with a sledge hammer and it isn't moving. The rust has bonded it solid. This should heat the whole end of the receiver evenly and finally allow me to get it off. I have seen people mess around with induction heaters on science and technology shows and it was cool to watch but I never knew you could actually use the technology bedsides a stove top. I also work as a paramedic and we have a really aging ambulance fleet. The assistant chief on my rotation is the head of vehicles and repairs so I brought the induction heater in tonight to show him because not only does he do some of the repairs on the vehicles but his son is a mechanic. I showed him this by just heating up a paperclip held with pliers for 10 seconds and it was red hot and I lit a piece of paper on fire. I never thought I would show a guy who has been managing a fleet of ambulances for 30 years a tool so effective that it made his jaw drop. If you do anything that needs to heat up rusty metal especially around areas you can't heat with a torch then just get this to try and I promise you won't be sorry. This is by far the coolest tool I now own. It comes with 3 sets of two wrapped insulated rings of different sizes plus a set of straight ones that can be wrapped how you please. When you plug it in the fan starts, you place the ring over the nut and bolt end, hold the button down which shines a little LED light so you know it's on and doing the job. The bolt rust starts to turn black, you start seeing the smoke and smell the fumes, and then the bolt glows red hot after just a minute give or take the thickness of the nut and bolt and voila, the nut turns free and your done and on to the next one. I want to disassemble my old van to nothing but pieces to part out but that would take days of just labor to break all the rusty parts to remove them and a whole lot of sweat. This is a game changer! I want to use this on every rusty bolt I find. I like to watch restoration videos and they spend so much time carefully spraying rusty parts to free them to not damage them to clean and reinstall. I want to send them this item as a link from Amazon in the video comments and watch them order and try it in their videos. I want to go on and on about this but you get the idea. What a great use of a simple idea using magnetism and induction. I can't recommend this product enough.

The cauterizing temperature is high enough so that the bolt can be loosened very quickly. And there is no open flame, circumventing the safety hazard problem, which is a very reliable design. You can also replace the heating coil with the right one for different bolt sizes, which is a really useful tool that I should have discovered and purchased sooner!

This was my gift to my husband last week. He really likes this induction heating tool and he has been using it lately. This tool comes with a light that helps him to complete his work efficiently and helps him to ease his workload to a great extent. I highly recommend this product!
