Drilled & countersink mounting holes for my Craftsman plunge router. Needed a router base that would span a six inch cross lap on 2X6.

Pros: Quality, sturdy construction. In-built fence is a useful feature.Cons: Expensive Small issue, but the countersunk hole for the bolt securing the handle was not machined quite deep enough leaving the head protruding. Luckily I had an appropriately sized countersink bit and was able to deepen the hole 1/32” to fix.

I have two different routers and the universal fittings allowed this to fit on either one. Good product.

It would have been really nice if the bushing fit!!!!

The reason I paid a premium for this base was to avoid having to fuss with the porter cable bushing hole. Low and behold the base has been counter sunk too shallow for the bushing plate to sit flush or beneath the router sub base, making a template cut wobbly, not to mention only one thread is able to be used to attach bushing. Maybe they used the same set up as a 1/4 inch thick plate, but this one is 3/8. I expected more for this price point....
