This thing was THE BEST when riding the train for 3 days. Don't need a sleeper car. This works perfect for reclining with a footrest, it fits exactly perfect between the foot rest and the back of the seat in front of you, giving you the extension needed to fully lie stretched out in a coach seat.

This is a great product to have if you’ve never used travel a lot, especially long flights. Combined with bulkhead or exit row seats it feels like I’m traveling first class.Beware of Austrian airlines & Air France, they enjoy - really enjoy telling you that an inflatable ottoman is a “ hazard” and you will not win an argument with their “Friendly” crew. I stopped using those airlines all together. That’s how big of difference this inflatable ottoman has changed my life!

Poor quality! The material feels cheap and has a strange odor. Plus, the carrying bag was already torn. Very disappointing.

These foot rests were extremely helpful on a 12 hour overseas flight. Very easy to inflate and deflate fit right back into the carrying case and slid right into the backpack. Highly recommend

My party of 3 flew from Houston, Texas to Sydney, Australia with United on a Boeing Dreamliner in Jan 2024. We upgraded to sit in the exit row under the bulkhead in economy so we could have extra leg room. I got us each a footrest and they made the long 16+ hour flight much more comfortable. It was much easier to rest with my legs extended like I was laying down. The flight attendants even complimented our foot rests and told us we were more comfortable than business class. However, when we flew back from Brisbane to San Francisco (Feb 2024), also with United, also in a Boeing Dreamliner, in the same seats, the flight attendants told us we were not permitted to use the footrests. I had researched before purchasing to see if they were allowed on United international flights and the reviews were mixed, which reflected our own experience with them. The case the footrest comes in is not only the carrying case but also the cover. Once you blow up the footrest, it is basically impossible to make it as flat as it comes when you first receive it which makes it more bulky in your luggage. The cover fits the footrest when the footrest is vertical or horizontal. There are also two sections to blow up: one that fills two sections and one that fills just the top section. This is nice so if you want a shorter footrest you can either blow up just two sections or just one section. They don't take very long to blow up and we had no problems with losing air in any of the footrests. Overall I recommend the product but keep in mind that it's a bit of a gamble whether the flight attendants will let you use them or not even within the same airline on the same type of plane.

This was purchased for an adult's footrest for long plane rides. It's just too cumbersome and large for that small space between seats. It would likely work well as a seat extension if you have a small child who wants their legs fully extended or a bed. But for adults, it's too snug --if your seatmate wants out, you have to remove it quickly and then put it where? It's just too big.

The quality is great. I used it when I was travelling by plane in the economy seat. It was okay for you to keep your legs up.

We used these for our international travel since our kids are now too big to have little beds but we needed something to keep their legs comfortable for the 10-12 hour flight. It does great overall. You can inflate it yourself (no device necessary) and it inflates quickly, the cover slip to keep it clean from airplane floors is a great and it does do a good job staying inflated. The only trouble we encountered was keeping it in place during the flight. It kept slipping down or out of place and it required many times for me to have to push it back up to its original position after slipping down into the foot rest area and becoming slanted. It’s manageable and worth it if you’re okay with the time it takes to put it back.
