The Inteset Multi-Channel, Bi-Directional, Wireless Infrared (IR) Receiver/Repeater is the most innovative and flexible product of its kind on the market today. It, literally, can be used to solve any IR transmission and/or IR receiving requirements of any A/V combination of devices in multiple common locations that anyone can create. The user can have multiple device locations anywhere in a home or commercial environment and access all devices with an IR remote from one or more IR Receivers using RF transmissions between IR units. Since each unit can both send and receive IR signals the available combinations of channel pairing of up to ten channels creates IR control in every device location scenario.
Keep in mind that these units only control IR signals. Each TV and device used in these configurations must have A/V cabling (usually HDMI) that corresponds with the use of IR controls being described here. Only had a range of about 5 feet with a wall in between. Currently looking for a better alternative.

DO NOT BUY IF YOU HAVE ANY OBSTRUCTION BETWEEN THE RECEIVER AND EMITTER!I bought 3 for use in my RV and because all of the drivices are in a cabinet, the only one which initially worked was within 5' of each other, but wouldn't work the moment I closed the cabinet door. I wasted my money because after all the shipping and restocking fees, I won't get enough money back to even pay for my wasted time!

Like: Small & low profile. Easy to install and works well with AT&T UVerse remote & cable box.Dislike: cable on receiver was too short for my purpose. Needed it to be about 8' long to reach from TV wall outlet. Mounted receiver head on wall as close to TV as I could get.Note: emitter is located on cable box under floor 3' away, so this is not a very demanding application.

My Powermid/Radio Shack infrared remote extenders finally died after >10 years of service and I found the Inteset Wireless Pro on Amazon when searching for a replacement. These units are more versatile and have better range than the old Powermid units, but those may have improved in range since then. Each unit can both send and receive, and multiple units can be configured to use separate channels so the possible configurations are almost endless. I wanted to be able to control one device, a stereo receiver, from multiple locations around the house. I conversed with a rep at Inteset via email to confirm that purchasing two pairs of units would work, and they sent me an extra IR receiver free of charge so I could have 3 receivers and one emitter. Our home is not large but has plaster/lathe walls that tasked the Powermid system, but the Inteset system handles them with ease. Very happy with the items and the service, definitely recommended.

My Sony Bravia tv has an ir blaster to operate my cable box eliminating the need for so many remotes. When the tv was installed (wall mount) the included blaster was not connected. I was looking for a wireless solution so that I would not have to remove the tv from the wall and run the line through the wall. I contacted the seller and they assured me that this product would solve that issue. I can honestly say that it works wonderfully. I haven't had an issue since it has been set up and it performs great.
