Large pad made a big difference from the last one I purchased. Better wrap around and under strap. So pleased with this model. Dealing with medical issues beyond hernia so no surgery. Much pain relief from this harness.

The heavy elastic material was bulky and did not fit well under my pants and tended to ride up.The pressure pocket did not seem to stay in place.I don't know, but It seems that a brace made similar to jockey strap design and material would be more comfortable.If I ordered a medium rather than a large for this brace, It may have fit better.The brace was priced at the lower end, so I should not have been surprised.

I am very happy with this support. It is holding up well. The support has been very good. The material seems to be very durable and does not seem to be stretching out. I have this for 7 months.

I needed to add some more padding (small sock) in with the included pad. The velcro maybe shouldn't go clear to the edge of the end of the strap it is on. The velcro is "scratchy". I use this belt for when I am just being around the house, or I am wearing looser clothing or pjs, it's great. I find it easier to get it on, if you adjust it to the right size the first time you stick it down. Then, instead of undoing the velcro, "leave it velcroed" and just slip out of it, and back into it without ripping the velcro off every time. Easier just to slip it off and on. Where the velcro connects is in a VERY awkward position, and if I have inflammation in my shoulders I have trouble pulling it hard enough. Hope this helps. I am wearing it now. Meh, ok.
