bought this to replace my factory 180 motor in my WPL c24, needed little more power/torque and i didnt need to change the pinion gear, comes with 11 tooth and i needed a 12 tooth but figured id try it, works just fine. this motor gave me roughly 15% more bottom end torque and better control, also 10-15% more top speed. and running factory ESC.

I installed it in a meus 2 speed transmission with a injora mb100 esc and I think it works amazingly well. Very fast , donuts and wheelies in high gear and super slow controlled crawling in low gear. The best of both worlds.

If you want your crawler going really fast this is the motor to get. But if you combine the low gears with it then you have exactly what you need for making it a true crawler. You get that perfect low end torque and then when you need that pack a punch it has it. I would recommend if you go to this motor get the gears as well. You're sacrificing a tiny bit of speed but it's really not that bad and the gains are worth it. And it is really easy to install. Because it has a higher turn it is a lot louder than the stock motor so keep that in mind. Hopefully this is helpful.

Very fast and responsive and torque is there. Only bad thing is the stock ECM /ESC can’t handle it the best and needs a better aftermarket one

It isn’t a great powerhouse. It is worth the money but won’t win many races. Fot crawling it is a little better than stock.I had to reverse the power leads to get the motor to go in the correct rotation. The stock Traxxas radio controls does not have a reverse switch to accomplish this. You need to use a soldering iron to accomplish that.I’m not unhappy with the motor but wish it had more power. With the Traxxas low crawler gears it still is quite slow.The price is reasonable for the experience.

Honestly, for the price, it's almost a no brainer. I've been running this in my crawler, with 9.7:1 gears, metal drivetrain and housings, and absolutely having a blast. I do a lot more hill climbing than crawling and this motor holds up the entire trigger time, not a single failure (when the car is tuned). This motor puts a lot of power to the wheels. I had to have my crawler absolutely perfectly tuned in the drive train in order for this to function flawlessly but if you keep your TRX-4M in good condition, these are almost a must have. The price point, the performance, really there hasn't been a single draw back from using this motor yet. You will not regret this purchase.
