No problems. Seem to be completely compatible with Shimano and KMS chains. Work great to stick in a seat bag to always have a spare for back country MTB rides.

Seem well made. I keep some of various sizes around. The tool to lock / unlock them is almost a must. They are chain size specific. Using the wrong thickness is a bad thing.

Packaging looks like authentic Shimano, but it is a cheap fake. The performance difference for a novice cyclist is probably minor, but for serious riders and/or anyone who waxes their chain, it's a waste of money and only good for 2-3 reattachmeets.

I had used them and gave them a good review, till I bought a SRAM chain and I noticed the problem after a short time.Long story short: KMC has 3.5mm pins and SRAM has 3.6mm pins. There would be a 0.1mm extra extension as soon as you install it which increases soon because the difference in diameters. This product is suitable for KMC and not for SRAM.

After about 500 miles, these are working fine in average road use. No shifting problems. No noise or clicks.

9 speed force activated master link. I prefer these over the old 2 prong style because they are quicker to assemble and disassemble (but a pain to line up without the correct pliers). Be warned that these are the same price as a new basic chain, so unless you are swapping these into a new chain, you may just want to buy a new one altogether.

This is a link that can be used to re-attach a broken chain or connect a new chain. It should not be re-used. It also should be installed rotationally correct. These can be installed by hand and though it is a little harder removed by hand. My suggestion is to purchase a removable link tool which makes installation and removal easy. In my opinion the 12 speed chain is vulnerable and keeping one of these links along with a tool in your bike bag is cheap insurance.
