I like this puller set. it has both 63mm and 48mm crows feet so it should work on most vehicles. I was impressed with the weight of this puller. The solid weight allows plenty of force when sliding the weight. The case is minimal in size so that allows you to stash the case just about anywhere on a shelf. This puller should get the job done more quickly. I recommend this for anyone that is needing to replace a CV joint.

The horseshoe pieces did not fit my Avalon. Pretty much like not fitting a Camry.

The Reywoo CV Slide Hammer Axle Puller is very Durable, I used the Puller on a 2009 Subaru & a 2010 to quickly disengage a Couple of Axles that just wouldn't release with any other method during the course of the Year, I am so glad that I had the Reywoo CV Axle Puller in my Toolbox. The Axle Puller is kept in the very nice Storage Box that keeps all of the Accessories neatly in one place. I gave the Reywoo CV Slide Hammer Axle Puller Set a Full Five Star Rating Across the Board. It is Reliable, Easy to Use, and Very Durable to name a few of them.

Not a tool you'll always need, but for, as it's description states, pulling cv axles, this is a great tool to have. Overall it's pretty solid, comes with everything you would need to get axles separated in minutes, as apposed to a lengthy and tiresome amount of time beating yourself to get it to pop out. Slide hammer and claw attachment just works so smoothly in comparison to prybars and a small sledge. Makes a straight forward job, pretty straight forward. It's got a pretty good price tag, but you get what you pay for. Its a big boy, and has good weight and build quality, definitely worth it to save time and effort on a job that (especially for home mechanics) you will hate yourself when things don't go smoothly, which it most likely won't.

We have a Ford explorer who has been currently diagnosed with bad front CV joint axles I needed to be replaced we will give it a price that would literally knock your socks off and excess of 1500 and today's economy as many of you know $1,500 could be as well as a million dollars I am more than a handy mechanic and was more than willing to give it a shot it seemed pretty simple to replace a CV joint it appeared to me that the main point of difficulty was the extraction of the old CV joint axle after doing much research into this I settled on the radio CV axle slide Hammer puller and I'm glad I did after watching several videos I doused everything in PB blaster and let it sit overnight letting the penetrating oil do what's work here in the Northeast everything is coated with salt from the roads from the winter and bakes in the summer heat everything has rushed on it and nothing comes apart the first time easily so I was preparing myself for a battle removing the front CV axles and replacing them if they were moving the tires and putting the truck on stands and dousing everything with a liberal coat of PB blaster I put together the slide hammer CV joint puller put it in place and on the fifth Pole the first joint slid out of the transmission as easy as could be I was amazed at how easily this tool works and was to use I also ecstatic about saving myself almost $1,000 by doing it myself and in this economy anything that saves one money is a plus and this was a great value for my money I also found that the same slide hammer attached to my steering wheel puller a hub puller also works fantastic and removing the front rotors that seem to be always Frozen on with rust they too after being doused with PB blaster overnight on the 7th or 8th pole came right off typically that I had to beat off with a 5 lb hammer for what seemed like ours this kit is well made well thought out works fantastic comes in its own blow molded case and I couldn't be happier after experiencing such success the rotors and the CV axles I attempted to and succeeded in removing the trailer hitch on my suburban which I have tried getting everything off including the torch basically what I did was I loaded it up with PB blaster let it sit 24 hours heated it up with the torch Luke the cable over the ball hitch and after about a dozen hits out came my receiver hitch that hasn't seen daylight for almost a year!!! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is interested in it

CV axles are such a straightforward replacement job in concept. Pop off the wheels, loosen some nuts, detach the hub, and pop them right out!Of course, the "pop them right out" part might take a while, a few busted knuckles, and some hurt feelings. What, in a perfect situation, should take about 15-20 minutes once the car is off the ground can stretch into hours when an old CV axle just doesn't want to budge. You'll use pry bars. You'll use mallets. You'll give up and break out a sledge. It's no fun. This tool absolutely breaks that old cycle and makes the process about as easy as it can get. It has several attachment types, from claw to cable to outer CV adapter. With the rather weighty and heavy-duty slide hammer, it makes short work of pulling the axles out. Mine had about 180,000 miles on them and were in there pretty good. A lift had them sitting at an angle so it likely added to how tight they were stuck. Driver side took about six or seven solid strikes on the slide hammer, and popped right out. Passenger side was made short work of, with only three. Both were pulled using the claw. This tool, while I won't use it often, is brilliant for this work. It may prove useful in other part-pulling jobs around the truck as I come across them.
