Maybe if they had a stronger adhesive, you could still hold it to the dash after it warps in the sun.edit: moved to 3 stars because of the customer service. I got this back in February. This month is April, and they messaged me asking if I wanted a refund or replacement, so they did take care of me after the time that they had to do so. That was appreciated, and they didn't have to do this, so I have upgraded this review by 1 star and edited it to better reflect my experience.

This was the second such product I ordered, the first one did not cover the dashboard trim well and you could still see a part of the original fake wood. This one was one piece and fit perfectly. It covered the entire trim and looks really high end. Made a huge difference.

This might “look like” carbon fiber from about 25ft away.But once you get within that you will know it’s just a cheap checkered pattern, wouldn’t even call this carbon fiber pattern.The fitment on the door is good but the dash fitment is off ( the bottom of the trim closest to the passenger is wavy) could be the product or tesla quality control, don’t know.Reached out to the seller and they have stopped responding. They dragged out the responses and now I am outside my return window.

I got this carbon fiber dashboard and door trim to replace the wooden panel. The shipping was quick - only took 2 days with Prime membership - and everything arrived in perfect condition. The best part was that the trim came with this awesome double-sided tape that made it a breeze to install. I even left the painter's tape on for 24 hours to make sure it stuck well. After putting everything in place, I have to say, I'm really digging the matte carbon fiber finish. It totally transformed the look of my ride!

Oct 11, 2023 : Update. The gap on the dash piece is increasing. I speculate that the adhesive is starting to lose its initial "good grip". Its less than a week since I installed it. Will see how it goes. I hope it doesn't get so bad that I feel the need to pull it off and augment the double stick tape. The gap has increased to as much as 2-4 mm in some areas, whereas in other areas, there is no obvious gap. Door pieces remain the same as the day I installed them. Still leaving it at 4 stars.Oct 7, 2013 : It was very easy to put on. I don't like the wood look so this was a huge improvement. It wasn't a perfect fit. The drivers door side piece had a short 1-2 mm gap on top and a wider 1-2 mm gap on the bottom. The passenger side only had a wide 1-2 mm gap on bottom. Only you see these when the door is open (like other reviewers mentioned. The main dash piece had periodic small 1-2 mm gaps. Being a long piece, I would suggest that the manufacturers should have put the double stick tape horizontally instead of vertically. Or double the vertical tapes (so less distance between each vertical tape. It was clear to me that where the gaps appears on the dash piece was where there was no tape to help keep the trim against the wood. Being such a long piece, it is hard for the piece to fit naturally flush. Before removing the cover of the tape, I test fitted it and could see it wouldn't sit perfectly flush, it needed the tape to keep it down. If I were to do it again, I would add my own thin (you don't want it too thick to make to float above the wood trim) tape in the gaps between the tapes they do provide. Otherwise, I think it looks awesome. If the gaps start bothering me (since I installed it I know they are there) , then I will take a thin black marker to those gaps. Pictures show the gaps on the door trims (circled in blue).

Love the look upon initial installation. Unfortunately I’m going to have to remove and return these as they did not stick well. The dash is bowing and the door piece adhesive is not adhering well. Bummed and will look for alternatives.
