Your cart is empty.The Innovative Percussion retractable brushes feature a durable plastic housing with no pull-rod to bend or jam. Both retractable brushes feature light flexible (blue) and medium stiff (natural) bristles for different playing styles and sound possibilities. The medium stiff bristles are also available in a wood handle model, along with the BR-4 wood handle model which features heavy extra stiff bristles (black) for increased projection and articulation. All of the wood handle models are constructed of our heartwood hickory shafts and feature our unique and innovative "fulcrum notched" design for great feel and balance. The nylon bundle sticks feature a nylon grip and adjustable nylon sleeve to create numerous sound and articulation possibilities. The "CAPS" are a unique new product, similar to the bundle sticks, but features the "fulcrum notched" wood handle and extra heavy nylon bristles with brass caps on the end for incredible articulation and projection.

A great idea to have the rubber bands over the aluminium clasps that hold the handle to the brush; this allows rimshots making for a nice sonic variation. We're I to re-design these; the handles would be longer and the brushes shorter. It wouldn't hurt for IP to print or emboss a logo into the handle also.

for me it's just OK because I wanted to try it on Yamaha e-drums...not a product's fault but I wouldn't recommend it for this type of drums

These get great tones from the snare drum; overall better than any other plastics, and a whole different feel than wire. Great product great company.

I truly can appreciate products from both Vic Firth and Innovative, and it would be hard for me to choose just one company is I had too. That's why I've got a set of wire brushes from firth, and these nylons from Innovative. At this price, they are a bargain. I recommend them to anyone interested in jazz, beginners, and even advanced-level drummers.
