until its not .. just a chrome thing. well made .. like this better than non-stick which too quickly becomes stick. a bit of spray-oil seems to help and is easy to apply.

This rack has been the best gadget I have purchased for my airfryer. It raises your solid foods up off the grill pan for even better convection cooking. It works well in my Vortex 10qt Vortex oven too. The kabob spits are great too.

The rack fits snuggly inside our basket and the vortex now makes kebabs in rapid time! The edge char is amazing and the meat (even chicken breast) stays tender and moist.The sticks aren’t the longest but that’s because of the basket size; with larger meat pieces we do find four is the limit but you can do five if you turn them a couple of times

Perfect kabobs! Exceeded expectations! Used marinated ribeye cut in 1 inch cubes with accompanying sweet peppers and onion slices. Skewers pierced items with ease, no wobbly entry/exit. Just slide food off when done and either hand wash or throw in dishwasher. Heatproof kitchen gloves make all the difference when taking out of Airfryer.

Made a wonderful chicken k-bob with it last night. Worked very well with even cooking. It was easy to clean afterward as well.

I was pleasantly surprised how much I liked this air fryer accessory. It did a very decent job of cooking a generous amount of lamb kabobs I made. It didn't have the added smokey flavor you get from the outdoor grill, but you had a very good result in the time it would take just to get fire up the charcoal. Clean up was a breeze. There was enough food for four, though it was a bit tight in the oven once the meat and veggies were skewered and placed in the rack. I've used the rack without the skewers when I want/need to air fry something elevated from the floor of the cooking tray. And because it fits well in the air fryer I can just store it inside when the air fryer is not in use.

I like to buy pre-assembled skewers from the grocery store and throw them on the grill. I decided to try this contraption to see how well I could mimic the grill experience indoors. As you can see from the picture, the skewers came out great. It was actually really easy to clean as well. There’s not a lot of room. I ended up moving the meat and veggies off the wooden skewers (too long) and transferred to the included metal skewers. My only complaint is that it didn’t come with any instructions or suggestions as I needed to do some conversions to determine how long to cook and at what temperature.
