Eh, not sure what all the hype is here. No matter how you orient this cover, there's a gaping hole on one long side. The cutouts are either too small, or you have to open up an entire end side. And I just couldn't get it to fit ... seems like a simple thing but either I've recently had a lobotomy, or I got a bad unit, or ... I don't get it.

This is a good fit but doesn't clip or lock or slide into place so MEH. Does have some cut outs but is missing a cut out for the protein skimmer. I asked the seller if they could add that cut out if I bought another but for some odd reason they can not. Would buy another if that was a option.

1. The open back is not attractive. If you back the sump end of the tank against a wall, maybe it will work for you.2. The cord routing from the tank isn’t as generous as the stock lid. There are two punch outs (a double/triple cord hole and a single). If you replace the stock lid and lamp for a side-mounted lamp, maybe this won’t be an issue for you.3. The plastic is light-weight but has a nice texture on the outside.

The cover is not long enough to cover the length of the tank... if it was not for that it would be great.
