This is my second i5 13400 ,I bought first one for gaming pc and when my friend saw how good it was he immediately wanted one . Really good cpu plus those e-cores are a blessing to have . It runs anything I throw at it quite easily whether gaming or video editing . So please with this cpu 5 stars plus one lol.

Works great with a dual fan 4070 in small SFF builds where you have limited cooler clearance height. Noctua L9i 47mm air cooler works great and keeps temps around 33C idle- 68C under synthetic load. 64-66C during extended gaming. No undervolting enabled, which could improve temps more if desired.

This CPU is a superb, i build my system without any GPU and it performed very well on some new games.It's very fast for work, multimedia etc...Now i add a 6750 XT to my system and my PC is performing very well now (Ultra settings in all games). CPU never overheat (and i leave in a hot country). Thanks you Intel !

This was used in a mitx build with a 4070 ti and doesn't seem to have any issues with playing FFXIV (DX11) at 1400p @ 75 fps (monitor cap) with everything turned on. Went with DDR5 as the prices have dropped dramatically from when many of the reviews were written and it provides an additional performance gain over ddr4 (for longevity purposes as if say a stick goes bad in 2 years, it'll be cheaper and easier to find replacement ddr5 than ddr4). It's not my personal system so I can't provide additional details on its performance.

This is a great processor for the price, I spent around $200 on it at the time of purchase. It's a good midrange option for building a pc and comes with a fan. The processor comes pre applied with a small bit of thermal paste but I'd wipe it off and re apply a new one.

Absolutely excellent temperatures under load and/or while gaming. 13400 runs slightly faster than 12400F I had previously, but it still stays very cool and stable using Phanteks 240 GlacierOne liquid cooler. I tried 13600K, it was horrible - unstable and extremely hot even with a liquid cooler.13400(F) is the best value for 13th gen - cheap, stable, easy to cool, runs Cyberpunk 2077 easily paired with RTX 4080. If you are looking for even better value - go with 12400(F).

MB：ASUS PRIME B760 D4に載せています。システムドライブは1TBのM.2、RAMは8GB×2枚、ATX電源は、中古だけど80Plus Gold 750Wを使っています。とても良い感じです♪緊急に組み上げて娘に渡したため、ベンチテストはしていませんが、ぬるぬると良い感じに動きます。シングルタスクでの事務作業用（時々音楽の取り込み、スマホのフルバックアップ母艦）なら無印のintel i5シリーズが最強だと感じます。

i5 9600Kから乗り換え。まぁ4世代も間が空いているので比較になりませんが、K無し=オーバークロック無しでも10コアあるのでSteamゲームをしてても使用率30%とかで動きます(9600Kなら80%行くときもありました)。オーバークロック無しでこの性能なので、お買い得と言えるのではないでしょうか。

I have purchased about 30 of these this year. They are my "go to" for a typical office build. Usually with the stock i5 CPU cooler/fan combo it is constantly running at full blast and super loud. With the i5-13400 the stock fan is just right. The processor is more than capable to handle your typical office tasks.If you bump up to the i5-13500 or greater, I recommend a 3rd party cpu cooler that is quieter.
