I use these commercially on an Echo cs-400. The combination of the two together was a good deal, particularly if you bought each item separately at a hardware store like Lowes.

I used it to replace the original bar on an 18 inch Craftsman electric chain saw, model 358.34118. I had to remove the metal adjusting pin that is operated by the chain adjusting wheel, to get it out of the way. The original bar knob still works to hold the bar in place. You have to use a flat-bladed screwdriver to turn a screw on the bar in order to tighten the chain. Then I tighten down the same bar knob that came with the chain saw. So I didn't have to buy new nuts for the 2 bar bolts or a scrench despite the illustrations and instructions. I consider tightening the chain easier with the Intenz bar than with the original adjusting wheel. I just have to remember to have a screwdriver with me. It was a little hard to install since the instructions weren't totally self-explanatory. But the replacement is easy. Now when I shop for chain saws, I look for saws with bars that can be replaced by the Intenz chain. Everybody interested in this bar should learn to use the Oregon web site, where you can enter the model number of your chain saw and find all their interchangeable products.

I have used these chain and bar combos for several years. They last a long time between sharpenings and they don't stretch so quickly.Although this is not intended for my chainsaw, they work well in any chainsaw with the clamped end similarly shaped. I also have found that the extra teeth are worth the money.

Works perfectly on my Sears 18" Chain saw. Only wish I was able to get saw chain bar mount sharpener with this. Bar mount Power Sharp Sharpener only sold with plane bar and not INTENZ. Had to order bar I didn't need just to get self sharpener. Would have rated INTENZ bar ***** if this bar came with bar mount sharpener.

I bought it to extend the range of my 16 inch to 18. Since we received it, we have cut more than one twenty-four or better across tree by cutting straight down a fallen tree and crossing to cut the remainder. No hang ups or twists on the bar. Since we are in the country away from roads, the trees have to be cut into smaller manageable pieces. No problems, it has saved us a lot of work.

The bar and chain that I purchased was just what I needed. It fits my Craftsman chainsaw and works fine.

I purchased this set to replace the original bar and chains that came with my 18" Craftsman saw I bought 15 years ago. After that amount of time the chains were worn pretty much beyond sharpening, and the bar had suffered wear and was slightly bent.The new bar has a built-in tensioning mechanism that helps you quickly adjust the chain tightness.Also, the new chain has kept it's sharpness MUCH longer than the originals did. With these replacements, it's like a brand new saw.
