Part that breaks in most Mercedes Benz is plastic. For use in a door this part should be steel . This part will last much longer than any plastic piece and comes with all necessary parts!! Incredible buy ! Don’t hesitate!!!

Door handle is constructed of metal, factory part is plastic. This feels better, looks the same, and is a better product.

My handle just stopped working one day at the most inconvenient time, of course. I went to get a quote from my mechanic, and he said he'd have to first take the door apart to get an idea of what was wrong. That meant paying for labor to get a quote that I knew would be at least $1,500. So my husband watched a youtuber and how he had saved mega bucks by buying this handle on Amazon and installing it himself. The guy showed my husband how to do it. Lo and behold, it was so much easier than anticipated, and this handle matches perfectly!

What was existing was surprisingly cheap plastic covered chrome. Installed better quality cast aluminum chrome. Had to tweek the handle pin & bore to fit correctly. We'll see over the years. Recommend this product.MOB
