We had the 24hour hard wire Intermetic timer boxes installed in my horse barn when it was built, and these timer plug-ins are perfect for running a fan during the summer or a heat lamp during the winter for each horse (stall lights are on auto via the wired boxes per side). It requires an grounded receptacle to plug into, but has a grounded 3 prong receptacle on the right side to plug your fan/lamp in and still have the use of the second receptacle of your outlet box. I just replaced 2 of these after over 30 years of use in my barn.

Works like a gem!I had purchased one of these years ago and it lasted for over10 years. It just stopped working in the summer when I went to use it again for my air conditioner in an upstairs room. I tried another one from my local hardware store and it was too complicated. I like this better because it’s simple and the easiest I have ever used! Just put the green pin where you want it to turn on & put the red pin where you want it to turn off, and just set the time of day at Am or PM depending on what time it is when you set it up. That’s it! Works like a gem. I’m going to get another one soon for a backup even though they last for years. Hopefully they will continue to stay on the market.

The newer ones in the stores do not compare to this product. They used to sell them exactly like this one but no longer do. Once I saw this online, it did not take me long to use it. Works absolutely perfectly!!

It's good to see a dependable device from the old days. No programmed obsolescence here. It simply works. I've had two of these for 33 years, and they never gave out. I lost one of them, so I bought this one. It's exactly the same and works great...! You can also have it turn on/off 6 up to times a day (3 on & 3 off). By the way, here's a neat trick... If you want to keep from losing the little pegs, put the extra off pegs right behind the first one on the device (and put the on pegs behind the on pegs). The device will ignore the extra off pegs if it is already off, and they will be there when you need them. Ta-da...!

This is the second timer of this model I have purchased. The first one was perfect, sadly this one does not function properly and does not turn on and off automatically. Half of the time it works, half of the time it doesn't. Does not serve the purpose that I bought it for.

Best appliance/lighting timers. Great quality construction and ease of use. I have several of these and have never had issues with them. Same goes for many other Intermatic timers I own. All are silent as well.
