Super zwembad voor kinderen en genakkelijk in onderhoud heb er achteraf wel een filter bij gekocht want het is toch veel water om te vervangen.

I did not have very high hopes for an inflatable PVC pool but it was easy to set up, is decent quality for the price, my landlord and roommates are very pleased, nice way to cool down on a hot summer day, this pool is fantastic.Purchased the 1000 GPH filter to go with this and am using salt instead of chlorine, no chlorine generator necessary if you have experience with salt water aquariums, basically the same thing. A regular filter and some non-iodized salt is good enough for an 8ft pool. I have seasonal allergies and the salt water is helping clear up my skin, which is an unexpected bonus. Will update my review if there are any problems in the future.

Honestly for the price, this a very decent pool.Even with a not so flat floor (grass) it works perfectly. I highly suggest you to buy a filter (even a small one), chlorine tabs and the cover to keep the same water clean as much as you can.I clean the inside with a brush even while it is full and the filter does the rest.

Love this little pool! It's the perfect size to stretch out in and float. Use the inflatable ring as a pillow and put float tubes under you legs. Amazingly relaxing! And yes, like many others have stated, the pool leaks and you know what, it doesn't matter at all--unless you're planning to place it in your carpeted bedroom (which would actually be kind of cool), or put it on the living room over your hardwood floor. I've had it a month and I notice little leaks in the form of wetness and an occasional runnel coming from the bottom corners. I'm probably leaking a half cup a day. No biggie. Perspective here--It's a $40 bag of water--and worth every penny on a summer's evening.Tips: Take your time forming your pool as you're filling it; get all the wrinkles out of the floor and push the walls out (takes about 10 minutes). Buy some test strips, add chlorine and other chems as needed (not often). Use the inexpensive Intex cover; It helps keep the pool clean and works to warm the water. Importantly, get two pools. One for the kids (think cloudy water and floating bandaids), and one for the adults. Finally, I almost didn't buy this pool because I had nightmares where my two cats repurposed the pool as a scratching post, or worse, they'd jump in and forget how to swim. Neither happened. They avoid it completely (helps to splash about a little when you first set up the tub so they associate it with water).Happy floating!Update: four years after purchasing the pool it is still in good shape! Surprisingly little change in physical appearance. Still with a tiny leak somewhere on the bottom that seems to self plug after a few weeks. Biggest change is the price which doubled in 4 years. Still, if this one failed I’d get another.Second update: So now, year 5, I've replaced the first pool. Thought I’d get one more year out of the 1st. Alas, I might have been too overzealous straightening out the bottom on setup and ripped a seam. Was not too put out because the first was less than $45, NOW they at $65. That's not inflation. That's gouging. But what are you going to do, you need a pool right?

Since people were so nice to answer my questions when I was considering buying I thought I would write of my experiences with the 8 ft pool. I only had it up for 12 days, for my 6 yr old grandson's 7 day visit. It was the best thing I could have gotten to entertain him! * I installed it on my brick patio with a carpet remnant under it ( the carpet was very necessary). * It was extremely easy to set up. I recommend the Intex electric pump, if used carefully ( so as not to overinflate) it took about a minute to blow up the ring. Add water...instant pool! *It is very important for the site to be level, as stated in the instructions. My patio turned out to be about 1 inch lower on one side and that lower side was touchy and would cause a 'waterfall' if the inflated ring was leaned on at all. It wasn't a huge problem since my pool was only temporary, and I was with my Grandson every minute, it but could be dangerous if the pool was in use all summer, or if the water level dropped a few inches, or if you lacked vigilance with kids. Any more than an inch out of level would NOT be good at all, I would imagine it would be easy to collapse the whole thing then. * I did not use a filter and the one inch chlorine tabs in the floaty thing kept the water clean and testing within the advised levels. I used one or two tabs depending on the day(how hot,how long we were in it) ...I tested in the morning and adjusted up or down, or added water if it tested strong. * I used the Inex cover for three days while I picked up my grandson and the chlorine level stayed good with an extra tab in the floaty thing. (I had been very worried about what the water would look like when I got back!) * My site got direct sun about 7 hours and with average 80-85 degree days it took several hours each day to heat up to about 80 degrees. The water didn't retain heat overnight, which surprised me. * By the end of the 12 days, with 7 days of swimming in it, the water was beginning to get a bit cloudy( although it tested fine) , so I would definitely recommend getting and using a filter if it was to be used all summer. *A big net on a pole to remove bugs and leaves is really necessary. I used a smaller one, like an aquarium net, to sweep up debris while I hung around in the water while my grandson played. Lots little bugs around! * When the child-sized float/raft got punctured we bought a tougher one...which turned out to be way too big ( It was an Intex sting ray) .,....causing a danger of a child tipping out over the top of the pool...just something to consider when choosing a raft (it never occurred to me that a bigger float might be dangerous.) Taking the pool down was pretty easy, but I never got it to fold up very well. ( But I'm an old lady and not very strong!) I finally stored the pool and all it's 'stuff' in a 30 gallon plastic tote, ready to use again. All in all it was really a fun week in the pool. :) It was big enough for a 6 year old to play and 'swim' in and yet safe enough that I could breathe easy, although I was never more than 2 feet away from him. No question that my grandson loved it. Definitely a worthwhile purchase!
