Reasonably more sturdy than my stock ladder that came with pool. If your expectations are a ladder that doesn’t move at all than this isn’t for you. It has some motion but nothing that feels unsafe like the stock ladder I had felt like it could cave any second. You’re getting what you pay for. I am pleased and have been through many pools/ladders. I’m about 230lbs and it holds me pretty well. Don’t know if I would trust it much over 250. It’s rated at 300 I believe but Wouldn’t want to test the theory. Decent ladder at a decent price. Does not come with safety bar for inside of pool. Some similar models do. Overall I’m pleased for the price

our old ladder that came with out pool started to rust after 3 years and was literally bending and breaking at base ,,, this new ladder is amazing . taller safer and more sturdy than original highly recommend !!!!

This ladder was lightweight but durable. It’s a little taller than I wanted but that was my fault for not measuring our pool. I love the fact it’s lockable!

Pas trop lourde à manipuler.Le montage est assez abordable à comprendreÀ voir dans le temps mais semble de bonne qualité.La partie démontable de l'échelle est facile à declipser, c'est top, sécurisant et rassurant.

This ladder is great. Easy to assemble and very sturdy.. possibly too sturdy, so sturdy that my children now think it’s a great idea to jump from the top of it into the pool because you know…it’s sturdy. Overall a great purchase for the price. It’s holding up well to the horseplay (I’m not condoning it just mentioning) and so far seems high quality. If it falls apart by the end of the summer I’ll reach back out and update this review.

Pretty easy to put together. Everything is included. Just need some elbow grease and screw driver. Vast improvement over the ladder that came with my 18'x52" summer waves pool. Don't really use the outer ladder lifing portion as I just take the ladder out of the pool when not using. The great thing is the top landing area of the ladder that allows transition from the outer ladder to the inner portion. The only negative is the ladder isn't as sturdy as I would like it. When climbing the get in the pool, the inner part lifts up slightly until weight is distributed to both sides. Not a huge problem though. All in all, I would definitely recommend.

Zusammenbau:Hab trotz meiner zwei linken Hände die Leiter relativ schnell zusammen gebaut - fragt mich nicht nach der Zeit, hat sicher etwas gedauert ABER ich mußte mich nicht ärgern, weil es leicht war und somit verging die Zeit sehr schnell und ich hatte ein tolles Erfolgserlebnis (wann hat man das schon mit zwei linke Hände).Stabilität:Hab über 100 Kg und bin kein ehemaliger Bodenturner und trotzdem wackelt die Leiter nicht und ich kann Sie sehr gut benutzen - meine Kinder schätzen die Breiten Stufen und feste Geländer... also: Daumen hoch!Sicherheit:Man kann die den Teil mit den Stufen ausklicken und oben aufstellen. Dazu muss man gleichzeitig einen Seitenhebel (rechts) ziehen und bei den Stufen zwei Zäpfchen zusammenklicken ... geht ganz leicht, wirklich leicht - sag es deshalb weil ich mich die ersten Tage geärgert habe und erst als ich mir das System genau angesehen habe und meine Bewegung etwas geändert habe, wurde das rausnehmen der Stufen sehr leicht.WICHTIG: die beste Sicherheitssystem nutzt nichts, wenn man es nicht tut, sprich die Stufen rauf gibt - hab die Leiter seit ca 1 Monat und hab die Stufen sicher schon 4-5 mal unten stehen lassen - also gewöhnt es euch gleich an, die Stufen sofort wieder rauf zu stellen!Optik:für den Preis ist eine schöne Leiter! Ehrlich gesagt, hätte auch mehr dafür bezahlt... was ich halt noch nicht weiss: wie sieht die Leiter in einem Jahr aus... wenn sie da noch nicht verrostet im Pool steht, würde ich sogar 6 Sterne geben ;-)

Usually I only review things I like but this was so disappointing I decided to share.First, the idea is awesome, love that I can take the steps off without removing the whole ladder. That's the only nice thing about this ladder.I only bought it because one reviewer said it held her football player teenage son and husband and was sturdy. That was not the case with my ladder.It holds up to 300 lbs but shook terribly with me on it (much less than 300lbs). I tried moving it all around the pool, thinking maybe the ground was the problem, it wasn't. It wobbled and shook with my eight year old as well. It's made for a 48-52 inch pool so it was basically 4 inches too tall for my 48 inch pool. Even with someone holding the ladder steady, it continued to wobble and shake and my son was scared to climb out of the pool. Thank goodness I still have my old ladder to use until I find something else. I will be returning it.

We purchased an above ground pool (the kind that you assemble/metal frame) and it came with what appeared to be a decent ladder but it could not hold the adults (my son who is a football player 250lbs and my husband) and it bent in from their weight to the point where it could not be trusted to be safe. Finally it broke. So I shopped all over for a ladder that could hold the weight. At first all I came across that would work were expensive stair sets then I remembered that I had one like this when we had an Intex pool and it was not too bad because it was made from metal instead of plastic. So when I came across this I thought for $80 vs. $300+ I would give it a shot and it is working like a charm . It is very sturdy and holds my husband and sons weight just fine. Does not rock all over the place and the water in the pool flows good still. It's added plus is that it is easy to remove it from the pool (I can lift it on my own) or you can remove the steps.I would recommend this to anyone looking for a ladder that is sturdy and reliable at a great price. This seller also gave very fast shipping!

I was looking for a better ladder to replace the one that came with the Intex Easy Set 18' x 48" foot pool. So many wouldn't work because they had to be secured to the pool itself. I wanted one that was sturdy, and had wider steps. I couldn't find one, at least one that was a reasonable price. I decided to buy this one because it worked with the pool, and had steps that could be either removed or put in an upright position to make it safe. It does the job, but it's a little shaky, I don't feel comfortable as an adult standing on top and turning around so I can go down the ladder facing the pool when I get out. The steps are narrow as they all are for this type of ladder, and there isn't the piece that goes behind the ladder so kids can't go behind there and possibly get hurt. My granddaughter wanted to go behind the ladder to play, and I'm glad I was in the pool with her to let her know that that can be dangerous.The price was right, it went with the pool, and the front steps are removable. I'm happy with those things.The ladder is a bit shaky for adults, no piece to keep kids from playing behind the ladder, not as sturdy and steps aren't as wide as I would like. It works with this pool.
