Easy to blow up by mouth.Keeping it blown up is the tricky part. The cap to the air valve pops off easily and can deflate quickly, putting your child in harms way if you aren’t right there. The product needs a higher quality air valve for both inner tubes.

Perfect for my 6 month old but wanted the one with the cross straps as per the image but the full seat version arrived instead.

Product was as expected, and a great value for the price. The pool was a little on the cool side, so my daughter doesn't look thrilled in my photo (she's only ever had warm baths before), but she did enjoy the float until we took her out for fear of her getting too cold. Ours did not have the crossed straps as pictured, it was more of a "seat" - a solid piece with leg holes. My husband probably could have put more air in the rings, but how we used it she was able to lean forward enough to put her face in the water between rings. Our daughter is 7-1/2 months, and this was a good size for her. The seat is fairly deep, and I think she will be able to use for quite a while. I would not recommend for babies under 6 months, as it will probably be too big.

I bought this for my soon-to-be one year old daughter for when we traveled with my husband on a work trip and it worked really well. I felt that it was very sturdy for a child her age and weight. It has four leg holes and I put her legs in the front ones, which allowed her to sit up just fine. I imagine if the legs go through the back holes, it will cause the child to lean forward more. Obviously this is meant for a baby can sit up on her own. When placed in it, the water came up to my daughter's chest, but I never felt that her head would go under. Since my husband was working, I had to take both the one year old and the three year old (she of course had her own floatation devices) to the pool by myself, and this allowed me to manage both of them just fine.

Our friends have a pool, which we used with my 1 1/2 year old this summer. They had one of these Baby Floats for when little ones come visit. We ordered one for ourselves, so whenever we go on vacation or go see Grandma (who lives somewhere with a pool) we can use it. This baby float truly keeps your child upright and independent in the pool. I am a bit over protective as a mom and found this allowed me to feel like I could allow my daughter to play in the pool without having to hold her the entire time. Of course, that being said, you should never put a child in a pool without being right there. This just meant I was able to stand next to her and interact with her using toys, and try to teach her to kick or splash. Fantastic!

This is the second floatie we have purchased of this variety. It works great, and keeps baby supported and well above the water. Much better than other floaties which can be unstable or tip easily. It was a lifesaver when my 2 year old broke his leg. His cast was waterproof but he was hard to hold in the water with his large cast and this made it so much more fun for him to be independent. After he was out of the cast, his leg was very weak and he wouldn't walk, so we took him to the pool and put him in this and he would "run" in the water and it was great therapy for his leg and he loved the indepdence of it. After three kids, we are only on our second one and I am impressed with the durability.

This float was the absolute highlight of our vacation. Because of it we were able to take our 15month old to the pool every day. Towards the end of our trip she would get excited just seeing it. The way that it is built lets her kick her legs in the water freely and really get the full water experience without the risk. I cringe when I see reviews that say things like, if you dont watch them or if you turn your head.... Our baby was with us in the pool with our attention at all times and she was perfectly safe and incredibly happy. There are no design flaws or death traps here. Its simple. You inflate it, put the baby in, baby kicks and is happy, you supervise and play along. I couldn't imagine paying $30 or more for the other baby floats that take up so much space. This item is just perfect and safety is not sacrificed for price. Thanks to all the other reviewers that drew my attention to this amazing purchase! One of our top 10 amazon purchases ever.

Our 7 month old boy loves to play in water and he would keep on moving his legs all the time. So I was thinking he is going to like going for swimming but he is still too young to take him to a public swimming pool so i was looking up to buy a big tub so that we can put water in it and he can play. But I found this Baby float and based on all the reviews, I got it. And he loved it!!! We used it in our Jacuzzi and he was so happy and enjoying floating around, and kept kicking his legs!!! Plus it is so chip. The air pump that we had (bicycle one) did not work and my father in law blew it up himself but it was totally worth seeing the laughter on our baby's face. I can not comment on how well it works in swimming pool but definitely worked great for our arrangment and now every time when we go to bathroom, our son keeps staring at the tub giving us a direction that he wants to go in the Jacuzzi!!!

We order this float for my 1 year old. He is large for his age at about 24lbs but fits very nicely in this. I have no real complaints about the quality or design other than I wish it had a canopy. I usually just wet my sons bucket hat and put it on his and this partially solves the problem but his arms are still mostly exposed which means I have to regularly put sun screen on him. I also have a 4 year old and we are in the pool often for about 1-2 hours at a time. My son will usually last a good 45 min - an hour floating around in this thing. No worries about instability, even at his hefty weight this float is very sturdy, in fact my husband sometimes lays on it and it will keep him afloat (stomach down) and he is surely past the weight limit :) For $6-$7 you really can't beat the price.
