Bought this for my kids to use this summer until it popped (I didn't have high expectations). I have left it out nearly every night in the Texas heat, thunder and hail storms, and 2 abusive children and it is still holding air and working perfectly. The tail fountain was a nice touch that really improved their enjoyment of the pool. I forgot to weight it down one night and it got blown across the yard into a fence, but still shows no signs of leaking.I can't imagine trying to blow it up without a pump (I used an air compressor) so if you don't have something electric already I wouldn't recommend trying to blow it up by mouth. It would take forever and be a fairly miserable endeavor. Otherwise great product that has been a hit all summer.8/16/2023 Update: The pool finally died this week. It lasted for 3 years of not being taken care of with 2 kids and 2 dogs playing in it. The bottom finally wore out beyond my ability to patch it. I would 100% recommend this to anybody on the fence. If you take care of yours it should last well beyond when your kids outgrow it.

My kid loves this thing! It blew up with a pump in a couple of minutes so that was great. The bottom is not inflated so be careful whatever surface you put it on, it's just a layer of plastic. It's a little bigger than I expected overall.

I bought this last July (2018) for a MN summer. It got a good amount of use for 2 months. I leave it up overnight here and there but generally deflate and bring it inside, especially if there’s any rain or storm coming. My kids loved it. We didn’t often attach the hose to the tail because my then 2 year old didn’t like to be sprayed.September is when the weather starts turning to fall. I’d say by mid September I wiped it down and stored it. 2 months of use.I pulled it out yesterday, June 1 2019 and there’s a hole under the neck. It’s a sizable hole and I have no clue how it came to be but here we are. I’ve patched it. The patch isn’t holding well. So I looked and ordered another one. It was a huge hit and I do think we got $17 worth of use out of it. I wish it’d last more than one MN summer but here we are.

My 3 year old loved this pool, but in just over a month a large rip started on the seam. I purchased another due to the great price and 2 months later we had the same issue. Now we have 2 useless unicorn pools that cannot be returned because we are past the return timeframe.

This exceeded my expectations!! This was used thoroughly both indoors and outdoors for a week straight on vacation. My two year old son and one year old nephew had an absolute blast with this pool!! Inside, it was a perfect ball pit and play area for the littles. And outside, it was a perfect way for the littles to enjoy the sun and weather! No leaks! Stay inflated fully for the whole week (even despite littles climbing all over the sides of it and adults sitting inside leaning on the unicorn head)! Seriously, couldn't be happier! Would recommend this to anyone! (I even bought another one for my nephew to keep at his house!)

Took a chance on this - am very pleased! Swimming area is small, but let’s be honest - nobody buys an inflatable unicorn pool to swim laps in. Unicorn itself is pretty huge (kids for size reference). Has stood up to several days of abuse from children ranging from 3yo to 7yo. Still holding air and still going strong! If there’s anything negative to say, it’s that the yellow bottom makes the water look like pee, so maybe they should’ve rethought that but as a previous reviewer said the hose for the tail spray goes in like an enema so it just adds to the laughs for the grown ups! Good buy.Update: Had this thing for a few weeks now, it has survived being drug around the yard (empty of water, of course), taking flight during a storm, and all the abuse you can imagine would come from several kids. It needs a little top off of air, but other than that it’s great - no leaks at all which is a small miracle. Very happy with this purchase!
