I bought this to replace another, more rigid, hose that kept breaking every time someone bumped the skimmer. I just installed it, but I will say that it is the easiest fit I have used so far. It goes on well and doesn't easily pull away. It is easily the most flexible hose I have purchased. That made fitting it into place So Much Easier. I only expect these hoses to last one season, so I will let you know if it does not hold up for the rest of this year. No news is good news for me.

These hoses have been the bain of my existence with these easy set pools. LOL! They always deteriorate in the sun and need to be replaced practically every spring. I bought this one for that very reason, but found that the inner diameter was slightly larger than the one I had, making it nearly impossible to get a good seal. I ended up wrapping the fitting with heavy duty duct tape in order to increase the o.d., so it would seal. It does the job, but I shouldn't have had to do that.

My SummerWaves Sand pump filter sprung a leak on the small 10” long hose between the pump and the sand tank. I had very little luck finding a replacement that size. I verified on the SummerWaves website that it is a 1.5” hose opening, so decided to try this one since it was shorter than most others I could find. It arrived, but I found it was too big for the connections on my pump. I ended up cutting the smooth ends of the broken hose off, and fitting them inside this hose to make it fit. Definitely inconvenient, but it works at least for now.
