Didn't really think it would be very useful, but I've taken some really amazing pics with it, drone like. Fully extended and with a cam on the end, it could be tricky to handle, so for me it's worked out better to take pics. For action videos, it's way better to not extend it fully, but for that I prefer a smaller stick altogether, because this one is big. The carbon fiber makes it really light, the locking segments are great, works very well. It's very high quality, real carbon fiber, but the translations are kinda funny, not that you need instruction to use a stick anyway. Great product all around, very happy I got it!!!

This 6.5' selfie stick works well for its intended purpose. Each section will need twisted to lock or unlock which can be a hassle if you're trying to deploy it quickly. There is a 1/4-20 stud at the small end to attach your camera and female threads at the base end of the stick for using a tripod. It is super lightweight yet still rigid and the natural state of the carbon fiber gives it a nice visual appeal. The adjustability means you will always have the right length for every video or photo scenario you may find yourself in.

I have many many selfie sticks of various lengths for my GoPro and Insta360 cameras. This is my new favorite. Just as a comparison, this stick is 2m long, 6.5 feet, and weighs 227g (8oz). This is made of carbon fiber so at 5 feet long there is ZERO flex (which is important for 360 video), and at full 6.5 feet the flex is only minimal. By comparison a GoPro plastic stick that is not as long weighs 275g and flexes considerably even 5 feet. And the standard issue Insta360 stick (the plastic one, not the carbon fiber upgraded one) is 140g, but only around 1meter long and flexes considerably at only 1 meterThe build quality is excellent. The locking mechanism is much easier to use than many other sticks, with just a short twist to lock each section, making it easy to collapse. It has a 1/4 20 screw attachment for camera, but also comes with a GoPro adapter and screw, so it works for either type. It also features a 1/4" tripod base screw for attaching a base.My only small wish is it had a place to attach a lanyard at the bottom. I solve that by using the tripod screw for a lanyard holder, which works, and you can just remove it if you need to use a tripod.My new favorite stick!

The description is accurate, this appears to be a true carbon fiber selfie stick, and it's very long but is still very light weight due to the carbon fiber construction.It includes everything needed to secure an Insta360 X3 or X4, or anything that requires the threaded mount. The selfie stick is invisible to the 360 cameras, which is nice. It also includes all the hardware to attach a GoPro, Osmo Action camera, or anything else using the GoPro mounting system.Keep in mind, this is NOT like most selfie sticks that you just pull to extend and push to collapse. With this selfie stick you must twist to unlock each section before extending it. If you don't lock the sections when it's collapsed, the sections will just free fall and extend on their own. There is no build in retention when extended or collapsed.On this long model, there are seven individual sections that each need to be locked in position when fully extended. Then those 7 sections each need to be unlocked to collapse it again. This is called out in the description, so know what you're buying. This design makes it less than the most user friendly. I feel that the price is a bit high for what you're getting, but probably worth it if you can get it on discount.This is a good option for those needing an extra long selfie stick in an ultra light package.
