Please know this carrier should not be used for mice! A little mice came into our house during the winter when it was 16 degrees outside. She had babies! Ordered these to separate the babies so no more babies!! The tiny mice chewed on the ventilation holes and continuously escaped! If it is an animal that will chew the plastic then it needs to be an acrylic cage….not plastic as this item.

I was looking for a small portable space to place my hamster when cleaning his habitat. Often skipping name brands can be a gamble. In this case, it was a fail. The carrier is two pieces that need to click together. It’s not hard to do and you can push them easily. The downside ? Well they pop apart easily. Add some weight on the inside and you are looking at rodent injury or worse. You COULD zip tie or try to get creative in other ways to hold the two pieces together. I suppose but I am not going to suggest using it unless you modify it.The wheel is an absolute joke. I have never owned a rodent small enough that could even fit in that. The carrier is cheaply made. The container needs to be stable and safe. It’s not at all. This isn’t a viable option. I can’t say it enough, skip this one!

It is way smaller than I thought. I have a Syrian hamster. The wheel itself, couldn’t fit a mouse, it’s that small. Honestly I wouldn’t recommend even for a baby rodent. Im giving 3 stars as it made do for my hamster one night for traveling
