Great for using two MIDI devices simultaneously on an iOS synth - while staying fully charged! All connections fit snugly - it feels like Apple made it. Great quality, stable, and totally useful.

Adapter is being tested on iPhone 11 running iOS 18.1.1.This iPhone adapter works but is poorly engineered. The HDMI and USB inputs are imprecisely designed, so the cables must be plugged and unplugged to try and assure proper connectivity. Some hardwired mice work adequately with this adapter, and some do not. For example, some mice will track properly when the adapter is used. Other mice track incorrectly, e.g., horizontal for vertical and vice versa. I used a Langtu 2.4GHz wireless keyboard and that device seems to work properly thus far. The Lighting cable input is fine for charging the iPhone, but the Lighting cable connector that plugs into the iPhone is manufactured too loose to be stable. The slightest brush or jarring will dislodge the cable enough to create a signal loss in the external display. When this occurred, the Lightning cable must be fully unplugged and plugged in again. A significant delay prevents the external monitor from syncing immediately.To sum up, this adapter is too unstable to consistently use over a long period of time.

My son got a portable screen for Christmas and I purchased this so he could watch his iPhone or laptop on it. It works perfectly and it is small and you don’t have a lot of cords everywhere.

Alot of negative comments on reliability of the device and others factors made me very hesitant to pull the trigger on this purchase but I needed something to work with my new rig set up and this unit did the trick for me ! I mainly needed a HDMI and audio input to run simultaneously and that's why it does with minimal lag. Maybe the other customers were loading too much in their adapter? I'm not sure?

Great device, works as advertised. If you expect to run all those ports you need a 25 watt charger. I think allot of people put little 1 amp chargers and then get mad when it doesn't work. If you want to run all that stuff with your phone it takes power. My XR works great with this and a powerful charger.

I got this mostly to be able to get hdmi out and ethernet for my iphone for development. The ethernet hits full usb 2.0 (lightning) limits, so that's good, hdmi works, and charging works, and it's nice to have two usb ports. It's a bit big, but since it's going to be plugged in on my desk it's not a big deal...if you only care about hdmi out you can get tiny ones that don't require power.

Solo basta con conectarlo y estarás duplicando la pantalla de tu iPhone sin necesidad de configuración. Si vas a meterle audio con un micrófono para grabar o enviar tu voz se va a agregar un zumbido muy fuerte. Lo compre para que mi iPhone recibiera carga durante una transmisión en vivo y que la batería pudiera durar lo suficiente, le conecte el receptor de unos Rode wirelss go 2 y el ruido zumbido que genera es muy molesto. Para usarlos así no los aconsejo.

Used with iPhone 12 Pro Max and my lightning accessory would not work through the lightning port. Seems like you can only use it for charging. Also, the 3.5mm port does not work for microphones as advertised.
