I bought these boots because they were advertised as waterproof boots. So far they are. I used them on 3 hunting trips in pretty wet conditions and my feet stayed bone dry. I can not tell this about my my previous 2 pairs of "waterproof" boots.These boots are also very comfortable without any break-in period, at least for me. They're a bit hot above 70 degrees but nothing unbearable. I put about 50 miles in them without any blisters or aching feet. They're also pretty light.I'm really happy with my purchase. It was a bit pricey for me but it worth every cent!

For the price,if your in a pinch and need new boots to "get you through" these are the ones. I usually get around a year out of my boots. I bought these at the end of March and they're starting to split already. They've still got a little bit of life in them but I don't really see them making to July though.... But for the price, I wasn't expecting a year out of them anyway.Overall, they're comfortable and my feet doesn't ache at the end of the day.... They're just lacking in the durability department.

I dunno how Irish Setter does it, but they make these 10 inch high boots lighter and more comfortable than a pair of tennis shoes… I usually buy my boots locally, but the store closed now. Anyways, the only thing that destroys these boots is pavement, the rubber of the outsoles just isn’t designed to be used on asphalt or concrete, it wears them right down. But off road, these boots last and last and last, and they really only get better with age and use. I just got my new pair a few minutes ago, and I already got them on, and my feet are so comfortable right now that I feel like taking a nap, with the boots on… my only wish is that this particular boot had a lightweight composite safety toe, there probably is a model that has it if I look…

I wore these boots for the first time on a pheasant hunt. Did a lot of walking and had no issues with comfort. They do run narrow, so if you want to be able to wear thicker socks, be sure to get a wider size. I don't normally buy EE but that fit me pretty well.

A little stiff at first, but very good support. I like the non-insulated version, so I can wear year round. Fit is generous, but not too much. Worn most of the winter and they've stayed waterproof. I'm pretty happy with these.Update: In my second winter and these things are broken in nicely and bone dry.

Lightweight, fit perfect, comfortable and when you walk, they just seem to stand you up right effortlessly. Just the perfect set of hiking boots I was looking for. You can go for a jog in these. And not have your legs be shot.
