The wood won't dull knives and the featured grommet allows you to easily hang the board on display when not in use or for air drying. **Use & Care**
Wash Ironwood Gourmet products in warm, soapy water and thoroughly rinse with clean water. Do not soak. To dry, prop up off of counter to allow all surfaces to air dry evenly. Wood products should never be washed in the dishwasher.
After drying, rejuvenate and protect the wood by rubbing it down with Ironwood Butcher Block Oil. Apply the oil liberally and allow it to soak in thoroughly before use. Regular application of our Butcher Block Oil will prevent cracking and preserve the rich natural colors of the wood.

I've enjoyed using this board to serve cheese, fruit, bread, cured meats, and pastries.The acacia has a rich color and is easy to clean, and the board is a nice size for entertaining. It stores vertically in one of my cabinets with no trouble.

I bought this board for cheeses and dried fruits and bits and a smaller separate board for meats (just because I like to keep them separate). Adds rustic charm to the table, especially with the leather tie at the handle. Perfect size for 3-4 people. I highly recommend getting the oil as well to buff into it after washing and drying to condition it and keep the wood grain looking it's best - otherwise the wood will dry out and look a little rough. If you condition with oil, it looks as good as the day you bought it!

They sell it as a serving tray; but it makes for an incredibly handy little cutting board. I owned one for 10 years and it held up great till I dropped it right on the handle and broke it. So I bought a new one and I sanded down the handle nub on the old one so now I have two one with and one without a handle. I'd recommend oiling it, if you do it gets a really nice color and feel over time.

We have several wooden carving/cheese boards and felt a round would be a great addition. This one did not disappoint. My tiniest criticism is that it is fairly thin but that detail was disclosed. It is beautiful and will serve our purposes.

So far, I am very pleased with this purchase. The board is beautiful, the wood grain varies and looks just like the picture. It is a little thinner than the ones I'd had before but that is fine - fits better in my smallish hands. I also appreciate the hole and loop of leather which allow me to hang it up to dry. Please be advised, one cannot lay these boards down to store, they accumulate mold from being wet. So, hanging them unencumbered is the best way to store them. This one is also a nice size. (All I use mine for is chopping vegetables and fruits).
