The capacitor on my old Kwik Dial 9 died after 20+ years of service. (The capacitor supplies enough power to retain memory during brief power-outtages.) The result was wiping of memory and erratic watering. I expected this model would be a direct replacement only with fewer stations. Because I eliminated 6 stations when I built a pool, I figured this would do the job. I did have an irrigation professional install the box just to be sure it was done right. The wiring was a snap and he was finished in a half hour. The box hung on the old wall screws. Everything worked perfectly.

Fast delivery and works perfectly. Ours was blinking and the display was faded, we tried everything else first and no luck and then called a service provider. We were already $140 in with a sprinkler repair company and they wanted another $250+ for the controller. Save yourself the $ and time.
