I bought these extended Vise Grip clamps for clamping fixtures and tools to my steel work bench. These are very well made and do the job properly without twisting like the cheaper ones. Definitely will buy more of these with the tilting shoe tips. Much more versatile than the 'plain tip' clamps that I use for welding only. Expensive, yet well worth the price.

I purchased a pair of these well-made quick clamps for welding on a portable table. They're excellent for my setup enabling me to reach under and over the table to clamp welding pieces to the surface. I can see many other non-welding applications for these clamps.

Nice clamps, deep reach and they open very wide. I have four sets without swivel pads that have lasted for decades; I expect these will too.Don't buy knock-offs, you will regret it. I own a couple dozen the vise grip brand clamps. Unlike imitations they do not twist when you're pushing them to their limits.

J'ai commandé une T18SP et j'ai reçu celle-ci "T11SP"Je la renvoie, en échange contre (la bonne j'espère).Je ré-éditerai mon commentaire après réception de la bonne pince.L'acier à l'air qualitatif à première vu, et au poid on se fait une petite idée.Bon ben la 2ème n'était pas bonne non plus.On m'a remboursé et le prix et repassé à 37€ et quelques.Après quelques semaines le prix à re-baissé et j'ai re-tenté et cette fois c'était la bonne, du coup j'ai repassé commande pour une 2eme.Prix qualité très intéressant

I am in the process of remodeling our kitchen (can't wait to be done) and I knew I'd be gluing some real wood plywood to the sides of the end cabinets. To cover up the crap paper "wood" finish they came with.These clamps fit the bill so well. It was prefect to reach to the back of the cabinet, where none of my other clamps could reach, to hold the panel while the glue dried. Worked flawlessly. Little tricky putting them in place, but that is NOT a fault of the product, just the reality.This is one of those tools that you maybe hardly use, but when you need them, you'll be glad you have them. I know I am. I have plenty of kreg type clamps, but they have no where near the reach these do.They work pretty smoothly, pretty much like any similar type of clamp.Very happy with my purchase and the price is not bad when you compare it to other vise-grip kind of clamps. Bought two, probably pick up a couple more in the near future.

This clamp is a very good addition to the wide selection of vise-grips I own. The configuration is very helpful for clamping deep into a work piece, and the pads swivel and are smooth, making it capable of delicate work. I'm taking off one star because ever since Irwin moved their production to China, the quality hasn't been the same. I'm not saying this out of patriotism but rather from experience. Irwin vise grips are among the very first tools that I bought for myself in the early 70's and still own and use all the time. When they started making them in China, the quality underwent subtle but noticeable changes: the adjustment screw didn't move as smoothly, the tolerances that keep the moving parts aligned seemed looser, and the steel seemed more likely to get torqued around. I'd certainly pay a few dollars more if these were made as well as they used to be....
