Got the job done, drilling four holes in bathroom wall tile to install a towel rod. I used in a Black and Decker cordless power drill and the bit did take a little time to catch and make the initial puncture but once the head was sunk, drilled right through so I could tap in the anchors.

I needed to cut/remove installed ceramic tile due to a new stove. This drill bit made easy work of the tile, drilling through in seconds, and allowing me to remove a section of tile without damaging the remaining installed tile.
