Had to buy a better blade to obtain smooth and accurate cuts when building a storage closet for garage and for cutting baseboards. The 80 teeth give you the smooth edges and angles you want when you want that extra precision. All at a very reasonable price. Couldn't be more satisfied with the results.

Too early to tell how long it will last but its making some great smooth cuts so far.Have had zero chipping and almost no saw blade marks on the boards I have ripped.I am not a professional woodworker so take my review in knowing that

Lower cost then the local lumber places and dose the job very well. Gives a nice clean cut when doing trim work.

This blade makes a pretty well finished cut. BUT, I found the same blade (same brand) at aco for $78. what is going on?

I do most of my cutting with the Porter Cable Variable 50 tpi saw. It works well, but falls short on plywood, usually leaving small chips on the edge. I just purchased this Irwin blade especially for plywood and the results are excellent. Very smooth finish. (I made a zero clearance insert on the table saw some time back; no doubt this helps with the plywood cutting too.)
