Update: 4/18/21We have used the hammock less than 5 times since receiving it. It was stored in our shed between uses. It has already started breaking on more than one rope after about 4 uses! So disappointed! Now I have to return it? That is going to be a pain! Complete junk. I would give it a zero star rating if I could. I would also add that the stand is pretty unstable...the legs aren't wide enough. Most people rock a little bit in the hammock, but you can't on this one because it feels like you are going to fall over. Going to a quality manufacturer at Nagsheadhammocks.com instead. Friend has had one for 14 years of heavy use, outside all summer with absolutely no issues for close to the same price.:I was looking for a made in the USA product. Went to a website for Hammocks made in the USA, it led me to this one. The description said "designed and distributed in the USA", which should have been my first clue, but because of the website I figured I would try it out. Box arrived today with a big old "made in China" stamp on it. I will likely be returning it, as I want to support American workers with my money when I can.

We've only had this hammock for a few days, but we've already given it a lot of use. It was incredibly easy to assemble (no tools (or instructions) required). The quality is very nice and it is an attractive addition to the yard. It is heavy enough not to topple, but not so heavy to make it hard for one person to move it around for things like mowing. With our combined weight of 350 pounds, the two of us feel confident that the hammock will hold us safely. That said, we are not large people, by American standards. I'm not sure this would be comfortable or safe for two really large people, nor do I think it would be particularly safe for kids to play around on, although there isn't too far to fall, if it flips (a good physics lesson?). It is really easy to unhook the hammock from the stand to bring it in during storms and we plan to disassemble the stand into its constituent parts to store in the off-season. A worthwhile purchase!

I bought this for my husband for Father's Day! He loved it! It holds my husband, myself, my daughter and even our chocolate lab! Durable for sure! Definitely would buy another one if we wanted one!
