As a clamp these are fine. As a black clamp, these are not good. I was hoping for perhaps a powder coating or some kind of legitimately permanent black metal. But it's no better than a thin spray paint. Much of it is scraped off in the manufacturing process. So if you're looking for a clean black clamp, these are not. If you're looking for a clamp that has some black on it, that's what these are.

Coating is weak as mentioned in another review, but the clamps worked as they should. For my application the black looks a lot better.

The hose clamps wouldn't cinch down on standard rubber hose. Just free spun. Crap. Returned.

Their just spray bombed black clamps… nothing special, paint chips of them easy,Clearly see couple of spots where “fish eyes” oil was and sprayed over
