A little heavier than the rest of the billiards balls in our set - but works great

Drilled a hole in it and used it for a shift knob. Has held up great over 8 years!

The size is perfect (I’m assuming it’s regulation based on the fact that it looks right, but since I’m not using it for pool/billiards I can’t speak to that.)That said : it looks gray, arrived VERY securely packaged and overall was easy and now I just need to get healthier to use it!10/10 in all areas

Arrived with no issues, exactly what I needed. We engrave eight balls for going away gifts at my job. These did the trick. Same quality as other eight balls we’ve ordered from other people on amazon. These are a tad expensive. Cheaper ones we ordered are not available at this time. No defects and arrived with out any damage.

My friend just bought a riding lawn mower and is an avid pool player. He wanted an eight ball to put on the end of the shifter. It will work out perfectly. But I also play pool regularly and if you have a table and need a replacement ball this is where you should get it from. Fantastic price point.

It's a ball. A number 8 pool ball. Looks good, feels round. I'm not using it for pool so I can't speak to its performance in such an application.

Something wrong with this 8 Ball - every time i shoot it at a pocket it wont go in. Strangely, it seems to go in pockets when un-intended. Clearly something wrong with this 8 ball.

I have been on the hunt for something useful to help my miniature schnauzer increase the time she spends eating. It hasn't been easy! I actually didn't know that it was "bad" for a dog's health to let them gobble up dinner in less than 1 minute, but apparently it can cause bloating, volvulus, etc. While she has never had these issues (that I know of!), I know she certainly doesn't need to finish her breakfast and dinner in 45 seconds flat. After trying a myriad of things, a pacer ball to slow down eating popped up under my search, except that it didn't get good reviews. It occurred to me that billiard balls might work out well...they are heavy enough, they roll around so she would have to work for her food but breakfast and dinner could still be consumed. The trick was to figure out how many balls would work to reduce the feeding space, especially since she has a mouth like a hippopotamus and can take extremely large bites, which is why she can finish her bowl of food in less than 1 minute! Three of these worked out just fine in her small ceramic bowl. This dog is the master at conserving energy, and seeing her work these three 8 balls around the food bowl has been quite interesting. While the first couple of days she spent about 20 minutes eating and needed one ball to be removed so she could eat the last 5 morsels, the third day she was eating faster and managed to extract every single morsel from the bowl in 15 minutes (which is a LOT of time in both of our worlds!).Dogs are genius animals. I am sure that in a few more days she will master the art of siphoning out the food between the 8 balls and I will have to figure out a new way to slow her down. However, so long as she spends at least as long as my Havanese does "enjoying" her breakfast and dinner (~8 minutes), that's good enough for me!

Great quality ball for the price. We used them as end prices on our pool table light and they look great. We played a few games with them and they also perform great. Overall solid product.

I bought this pool ball because the ball that came with my pool table cracked after a couple of months. This is a great replacement which lasted longer than the stock 8 ball from my set, and so far I have had 0 problems with it!

Less than half the price of the retail gear shift knobs, this thing worked perfect, if you follow these steps:STEPS:1. Remove old gear shift knob, get a feel for the threads and the size of the stick shift. (that's what she said).2. Get some cloth, and clamp the ball in a workbench vice, it WILL CRACK if you don't protect it with cloth from the hard teeth of the vice.2. Center punch right in the middle of the "8". Not too hard, just a tap, yes the glass coating will crack.3. Have someone hold a vacuum hose right next to the spot you are drilling to catch all the residue and take away the burnt plastic smell.4. Start with a tiny drill bit, and go slow that first drill-in; get that first hole level / straight.5. Slowly increase the size of your bit as you use to make the hole larger.6. VERY IMPORTANT; once you think you are getting close to the size of the stick (the car gear shift), test it and see if it will 'thread on' if not go back and drill a little larger.7. Keep going until it threads on, it WILL THREAD ON, trust me, the inside of this ball is a softer plastic than the outside.8. If you drilled to large a hole, get some Teflon plumbers tape and wrap the stick with that, it'll fill the gap, may take a few tries, but it will work.PRO:1. Arrived on time, thanks!2. Perfect condition, no scratches, etc, looked perfect not even a Chinese factory worker fingerprint on it.3. The white part is more 'white' than the picture shows, I was kind of hesitant, thought it looked a bit yellow in the picture, but all is good.CON:1. When you first drill it, the "glass coating breaks" but that is to be expected, don't freak.2. Does not smell of delicious bacon, bacon smell is so darn good.Peace!
