The original top opened and closed so fast that it eventually snapped the plastic it used to open. This new version opens a bit more controlled and slower which is a plus. The addition of the pet lock is nice too.

Ordered a new top replacement to replace the one that I purchased with the can a couple of years ago. This AC replacement top only lasted 5 months! Does not work at all now. Very Disappointed. Not recommended!!

The lid for trash can was broken. ( my 1 1/2 years old curious niece broke it) had to replace it

This is a replacement lid for our touch less garbage can, the original lasted over 4 years with constant use, this has been the best investment for our kitchen!!

When my iTouchless trash can lid stopped working, I was hesitant about whether a replacement lid would live up to the performance of the original. I’m happy to say that this sensor trash can lid replacement was an excellent solution, bringing my trash can back to life with minimal effort.Strengths:Perfect Compatibility:This replacement lid fit my IT13MX model perfectly. The installation was straightforward, and it aligned securely with the base without any wobbles or gaps. It’s reassuring to have a product designed specifically for these models.Responsive Sensor:The motion sensor is highly responsive, opening the lid quickly and smoothly when triggered. It’s sensitive enough to detect motion but not overly reactive, so it doesn’t open unnecessarily.Battery Efficiency:I’ve been using it for a few weeks now, and the battery life seems excellent. It’s great to know I won’t be changing batteries constantly.Hygienic and Hands-Free:The hands-free operation is especially convenient when cooking or dealing with messy tasks. We purchased a second lid since original lid stopped raising and lowering. Electronic motion function for both lids tries to raise and lower - as you can hear it - but lid will not respond. Again, the original lid and replacement lid both will not raise and lower and each didn’t even last one year. First lid we used the battery option.. Second lid we used the electric cord option. Would be nice for manufacturer to provide a complimentary replacement for the electric cord option. Very unhappy that they won’t even last a full year.

I have two complete working units and wanted an extra lid on hand in the event of a failure. I ordered it in October and left it in the sealed box until today. Upon opening the box, putting in brand new batteries and turning on the power switch the power indicator light goes red and then shuts off. The motion sensing or the open and close buttons do not move the lid. It is useless as is. Unfortunately the return policy is 30 days and it is now over 90 days. I guess having a good backup plan didn't work and has cost me $80.00.

We've had two of the complete trash can set for years. It last a while but it started having problems with the motion sensor and not closing, so we had to replace it. It works great, just like the first sets we've had. It sturdy, durable and works great. I love the convinces of it. Never used the lock component on the front, just seems unnecessary. I preferred the original design that didn't have it. In my opinion it's over priced. Overall it's a great product.

We've had an automatic trash system from iTouchless for YEARS... and hope to never be without. This is only the second time we've had to replace the lid. Great product!
