I hate this toilet!! There is no "vacuum" and it does not actually flush.... it just fills and empties. There is no option to flush water through it...you just fill the bowl (maybe) and then empty. The empty function and macerator work very well. The electronic controller is problematic and the water solenoid has a mind of it's own. Sometimes it works and other times it makes noise but no water enters the bowl. Over half the time, I have to use the shower head to actually flush this piece of ..... no pun intended! I have two, both five years old, both constant headaches. As a full time professional yacht captain, I do NOT recommend this toilet!!!

Love my new marine toilet now that it is installed. Just wish they could have been a bit more clear in the installation instructions. More pictures and diagrams. I know this is a Jabsco issue. The transaction was painless. Thanks!

We live full time on our boat, so simple luxuries make all the difference. Upgrading our head to this product was such an improvement in lifestyle, we were just annoyed we hadn't done it years earlier. My husband installed it himself in one day (he's handy and an engineer, but I do think the average layman could do the same).The toilet has a low profile, excellent vacuum power, and four flush options depending on the situation and the amount of water needed. This comes in very handy when, for example, your tank is getting full and you don't want to add unnecessary water. It's been easy to clean, and hasn't acquired any permanent stains or mechanical issues in about 9 months of daily use.I should note that when we bought the toilet on Amazon, for some reason it was at a *significantly* reduced price (perhaps they had a surplus?) I think we just got lucky because the price subsequently rose, but even at the currently listed price, I would consider this toilet a real best buy.
