The base is too lightweight so it moves around on the table. The top doesn't spin freely. I may be able to use it for something in the future, but not for the intended project. Disappointed.

It does the trick for my clay projects and is super affordable. Recommended for low budget artists and beginners. Once I have more funds I will upgrade to a sculpting wheel which is taller and more on eye level to work with.

Bearings are a bit stiff. I have trouble on heavier pieces that fill wheel...not smooth enough to use for true banding. However, I am planning on buying a few. I like being able to have a dedicated banding wheel for each piece that I'm finishing. These wheels are great for the price. They clean up well and are great for everyday work.

Terrible wobble with this hand wheel. Right out of the box I gave it a spin and it couldnt do a full rotation without a very noticeable wobble in it. I immediately put it back in the box and returned it. It is also made of cheap plastic with nothing on the bottom for gripping the surface it sits on. Spend the few extra bucks and get ANY other banding wheel.

too light (can't get any momentum).wobbles slightly. If you tried mounting the base, then spin, the thing wobbles a little, preventing getting that perfect circle.no grip on base, so it just slides all over the place.could work great for spray painting small pieces on, like a lazy susan.

Exactly as advertised. It is priced. Has smooth operation. Sturdy. Great for detail work. And that's just what I needed for my work.
