I wanted a fast idle actuator or throttle control. This appears to be a simple motor driven rack and pinion. It moves extremely fast like a solenoid and does not hold its position.

I ended up buying 4 of these just because they work great and are so inexpensive. Don't need them for my vehicle, but anticipating using in DIY fun projects

This is beyond funny in how ultra cheap it is made. This is NOT a linear actuator. It is like an electric motor and a gear or something. It does not even have a limit switch. I would estimate production cost

I saw an add pop up for this while looking for some linear actuators. I thought for a 6 dollar door lock unit...why not give it a try on my old truck. I wasn't planning on upgrading it to power locks for a long time but I couldn't resist the cheap upgrade option.To my surprise, as old as my truck is, it still worked great. Older trucks sometimes have lock mechanisms that need extra power to move but this little guy did the job. Buying a second one for the passenger side today!!!

Cheap. Plastic. Very weak. Spend a little more and get something nicer. Is possibly good for experimenting with a project. Do not have any expectations for this item.

A tad weak, but it's 12v, 3.3A. Otherwise, it's amazing for the price.
