When I started stitching the thread kept breaking. Undoubtedly rotten. Had to buy all new thread. Would not buy again.

My daughter is stitching this design as a wedding gift. The design is beautiful (even better in person than the pictures), but intricate and challenging. Probably not a good project for a beginner. We did find the chart to be hard to read simply because it is so detailed and many of the symbols for different colors are similar to each other. I scanned and printed it out for her at a larger size to make it easier to read.

Did use half stitches which could be tricky for beginners. Had alot of back stitching but that just brought out the detail.

I chose the design because I only had a month to complete before the wedding. I worked on it for about three hours during the evenings and most of the days on the weekend and finished with a week to spare. It's a pretty design and very detailed. I think they should use a colored chart or change the symbols on the chart. The symbols are very similar as are the colors of the thread. It helped immensely to enlarge the chart and I consider it a "must do" in order to see it to work with. I've done many counted cross stich pictures and this one is by far the most detailed with the similar colors and similar symbols on the chart.

I just finished my piece this month. It is very beautiful, very detailed with quarter cross stitches. I finished in 20 days, with a two to four hours each day and full time at weekends. I added glass seed beads to the small yellow flowers and silver metallic threads at the border and the words and framed it with a silver photo frame. The font types and wordings were modified to make it more eye catching and meaningful. It received lots of compliments from colleagues and friends. It is really worth the effort.
