This is gorgeous, and coated on top with a thick layer of polyurethane, at least two coats (I hope it's food-grade!). A slightly nicer sushi block than what you find in the average store--I just like the design, it looks good to my eye.

These sushi trays are great but beware they are small - for single serving of sushi. Tray is only 5-6 in. long. Actually, I used mine for rice krispy treat sushi we made for my daughter's 10th birthday. It was the perfect touch too make 'em look so real...
