This is heavy (1.148 lbs) and seems pretty heavy duty. The included brush is very helpful for cleaning out flower debris after displaying them.. It's also quite large, the size of my palm, and with all those spikes it can hold a lot of flowers!Mine arrived in the manufacturer's box in an envelope rather than and some of the spines on one side were dented, but I was easily able to correct them with a pair of pliers without weakening it as far as I can tell. One of the spines isn't sharpened, so it's just a wire, but it's still functional.Overall, I think it's a good quality for the price!

I just recently discovered flower frogs and was advised (by a professional florist) to go for the metal weighted ones for personal usage. I took her advise could not be happier!I understand why she uses plastic ones for one time use events, but this is definitely something I will keep with me for a long time. No need for suction cups as it is quite heavy and has no problem keeping itself in the bottom of a vase. And can we talk about those spikes?! Those metal spikes mean business when it comes to floral arrangements.If you’re even considering the purchase, just do it! Better than expected and couldn’t be happier. 10/10 would recommend 🌷😁👍🏼

Ever since I visited a floral/art shop in Reno, I knew I had to get a frog. Unlike many floral frogs today, this gold-pin one is very heavy and sturdy.Pros: Impressive quality, flashy and pleasantly gold look, worth the priceCons: None

Most of the kenzan being sold are so small. This is probably fine if you do very traditional ikebana, but I'm really looking to reduce my use of floral foam and not use them for ikebana designs. I like using a lot of foliage and greenery in my floral designs so the small kenzans have too few pins.

Wow! I was expecting something small and underwhelming but this thing is a boss. The weight alone means I don't have to use adherence in my design container. The spines are close knit, sharp, and rigid...ready to handle stems with ease. Plastic frogs have nothing on this. Looking forward to designing some ikebana with some Dutch hydrangea and green trick 🥰

This is an amazing frog, with so many pins for flower arranging! I like how heavy and sturdy it is. It fits in many larger vases and containers and can be used to create really dramatic arrangements. The quality is good and I expect this to last for many years.

Wow! I didn’t expect this flower frog to be so substantial! It weighs over a pound. I love that it is made of metal and has a good weight which will support a lot of stems in any vessel or vase. The prongs are sharp and will easily pierce stems. You don’t have to worry about it falling over. The gold color is attractive and it is an excellent value for the price. It comes with an included brush for cleaning around the points which helps a lot.

This is a hefty 2 inch flower frog. I weighed mine in at 1.2 lbs which I think is certainly heavy enough to hold up a flower arrangement. The black part around the base is rubber and prevents it from sliding in the vessel.
