Originally bought because the one in the car became sticky due to melted rubber. This one is good, doesn't seem like that will happen.Installation is a bit of a pain. It's not just a simple swap. This isn't the product's fault though, its BMW's. You need to take the door panel off, drill through the existing rivets (4 of them on my car) on the old handle (they're plastic so its not that bad to drill through) and then use the screws that come with this one to install it in the old rivet holes. If you have a drill it'll take probably 5 minutes assuming you know how to take the door panel off. Otherwise it'll take a while to manually dig out the old rivets. I used a butter knife and a torx bit, took me a half hour but I got it done. New door handle looks clean and doesn't stick when you touch it.

I would like to see a few washers for bit more surface to spread from weld removal. Overall a good implentation.

Pretty nice replacement part. The inner handle is hard plastic, so if you are hoping for tile thing soft, this isn’t that. I’m still happy with the purchase. You will have to remove the door card to install.

This pice of plastic junk won't fit your BMW door. It's worthless crap.

The original rear door handles on my 2008 BMW 328i (E90) have started to melt and become super sticky, leaving black goo on your hands when pulling the door closed (see attached picture). These aftermarket replacement door handles were easy to install, it's getting the old inner ones off that was difficult (they are plastic welded into the door panel at the factory by BMW).Once the door panel is removed, I found that using a 5/16" drill bit from the back of the panel to drill out the old, plastic welded door handles worked best. I tried a Dremel at first, but there just isn't enough space back there. I installed the new ones with the screws provided, but added a small fender washer as I didn't want the handle to rip out of the soft door panel material. Please note: Be sure to purchase a pack of the "Rexka 20pcs Interior Trim Moulding Door Retainer Trim Finisher Clips" at https://a.co/d/8HM0QOP as you are going to break several of them in the process of removing the faux walnut door trim. Good luck!

There are plenty of videos on youtube that show how to install this door handle. It is simple. The handle is a perfect fit and color match. You may want to purchase four flat washers, #8 and at least 1/2 to 5/8 inch wide to use along with provided pan head screws. When removing the old door handle, the holes are roughly 1/4 to 3/8 inch wide. The washers will ensure the provided pan head screws completely cover the holes.

Install is a pain but not this products fault. Get ready for about 30-45 minutes per handle but the finished product is worth it. Great replacement

I recently bought a cheap 335i and cannot figure out what the previous owner was thinking by duct taping the passenger handle together. It was disgusted and an eye sore. His clobbered "fix" slowed the install down trying to cut the clamshells free from each other, but the end result was well worth it. It matches the black interior very well. Can't say it was an easy part to install since the door card has to come off, but that's no fault of the replacement manufacturer, that's all on BMW's "amazing" engineering. It fits just like OEM and is sturdy to grab. Be prepared to break a couple door card clips, it's inevitable, but the torx screws do all the heavy lifting at keeping things together. Take your time and be patient. You'll have to remove: door latch cable, door lock rod, tweeter speaker wire, side speaker wire, window switch wire, and if you have the comfort access lighting (the BMW logo illumination when you open the doors), you gotta watch out for that wire as well, I almost forgot it and crushed it when shutting the door. It's black and really small.Overall, I'm happy with the outcome especially for the price.

Matched the interior very well and was pretty good quality. Easy way to spruce up your interior as these go bad in all BMW Interiors eventually.

These fit perfectly (I got the kit). It does come with the screws, and the front and back pieces for all door handles when buying the 3 piece kit. You'll want a panel removal tool, and I would recommend buying a pack of the panel connectors for both trim and door panels since more often than not at least one is broken. The look of them is great, and they are sturdy. Be careful that you heat up and remove enough of the backing on where the handle connects to the panel before trying to pull them out as you could damage the hole where the screw needs to hold.
