Either these are refurbished poorly, or they were junk to begin with. The first one was DOA, and the second one started cutting out after three months of use.

Amp failed after 2 months. Called JBL support and found out new unit was manufactured several years ago.

would have gotten a 5 star review, but there was an issue with the sleep function. With sleep enabled, with audio playing, the audio would cut out in about an hours time. The amp would not indicate that it was in sleep mode, just no audio playing. This happened 4 times, finally on the 4th time, i turned on the "sleep disable" button on the back. This disables the sleep function completely, the audio came back on immediately and it never happened again. The problem is that the amp wont go to sleep at night and it will use more power, and potentially reduce the lifespan on the amp. It's disappointing because I was hoping to use that function. Not a deal breaker, or worth returning it. Overall it's a good quality amp that I am happy with.

Supports 100v, 70v and 8ohm and all with a simple wiring configuration. Relialbe and good product. We have a few of this type amplifier that have worked very well for us.

It's working exactly as expected. We had an old 70v system that was burning out. This one was 1/4 of the size, and twice as powerful. The only difficulty is that i seem to constantly seem to overload the signal.
