Edit: deducting another star. Less than 2 months up and the red has faded away and starting to fray...not impressed with the quality.Original: Just got a basketball hoop installed, and thought having a couple of these on hand would be a good idea.I took down the original net to put one of these up to check it out, and did a bit of a side by side. I thought having a little color on the next would be nice, versus the white. However, these nets are about half as thick as the one that came with the hoop. They also seem to be a bit shorter, or have less stretch. The price on them has dropped by 40% since I received them. Because of that, at their current value of $6, that's probably a fair price as long as price is your main concern over quality. Time will tell how they hold up with how thin they are. You likely won't be able to beat that price, but if your concern is quality and toughness, you may want to keep looking.Oh, another thing to note for quality of a net, you can look at the rows of "diamonds" around the bottom half of the net, after the long strings from the rim. Better nets appear to have 3 or even 4 rows, of diamonds tip to tip. The cheaper ones only 2.
