Rebuilt the furnace in my vintage Class B Xplorer motorhome. It didn’t want to ignite as it should. Found evidence of bees and bugs inside. Wanted to cover entire opening, not just the round exhaust. This fit perfectly over the exhaust/intake of my RV Atwood 7916-ll furnace. Getting on the springs is tricky, but be patient. Chose this one with the rubber trim step between screen and my newly painted motorhome. Road wind will allow this thing to scratch your paint. Not with the rubber molding that comes with these. Fits nice and tight. I’m a happy camper

Not too hard to install, though getting the springs onto the screen was a bit difficult. Using the tool to latch the spring to the vent was easy. The screen is not tight against the vent but the opening should be too small for daubers to want to get in.

Works good , High quality, Built very sturdy. The dirt daubers can cause a lot of harm if they get into your appliances on your camper. This will stop them.

Easy to install, looks great and keeps out the mud dobbers. I has some wanting to make a nest in my RV heater this solved the problem. Stainless steel so it will last along time. 2nd one I installed. Had one on my old RV too. I would recommend

I purchased this screen as more of a mouse barrier. Where we are up in the North, we don't really have the "mud dauber" issue but more of a rodent issue. I didn't even know what a "mud dauber" was until I looked it up. :) Every year at some point, we usually have a mouse (or two) that will make its way into our trailer and make a mess of things. I bought this screen (and a few others) to cover the furnace venting on our RV.Installation was quick and easy with the included spring tool. The only thing I had to do extra was seal around the edges of the screen as we have corrugated siding on our RV and it caused small gaps. A little color matched silicone did the trick for that.The product itself is nice and solid. The screen is fine enough to stop pretty much anything but still allow nice airflow. I was not able to find anything like this in our area so Amazon was the "go to" and the price is spot on.I've gone a full season now and this, combined with a few other screens for other areas, seems to have done the trick. Recommended for all RV's. Keeps mud daubers, wasps, yellow jackets, hornets, bats, small critters like chipmunks, and birds out of vents. I recommend screens for the refrigerator and water heater, also, for the bugs and flying insects. This helps prevent damage and leads to long term function. A blocked vent could cause a fire or gas problem, as well. Easy to install, fast ship with Prime, great price, and attractive/functional. Highly recommend.
